I'm hoping for a joint testimonial for him 🐐 and Andy King 🤴

BOOOOM!

I really hope that there us a similar thread on a Manchester United forum where they are ruing the day (week) that Jeffery Schlupp eluded them!

I didn't want to put words in your mouth so I've quoted your post. Man, this is quite a take. /s

Ex Players - They used to play for us
ThorpeAstleyFox replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
The lone striker role just doesn't suit him - I'm sure that he will have a good career in La Liga. -

Is it still a stat that Dennis Praet never played 90 minutes for us (he did play 120 minutes in acup game this season)?
-
How could they have possibly forgotten about Ignasi Miquel like that?

I actually believe that this could be a good bit of business for Villa. Decent backup; fulfills the CL English quota (á la Scott Carson); no transfer fee, so could have resale value to help with PSR down the road. If they can get him on the right contract (lower basic wage, with higher appearance fee), then he would be a sensible signing.

On a side note, we should all refuse to buy any shirt for over £40! This needs to be the norm for ALL supporters in the country until the message is heard.
-
Things that we, as a fan base, can do: 1. Do not buy the kit or anything with the sponsors logo on 2. Protest against the club's decision in a noticeable manner (i.e. banners, singing anti-sponsor songs) None of the companies (PTT, LCFC, nor King Power) will want the spotlight shone on them in this way. It may not make a difference now, but hopefully it will be something considered in future sponsorship deals.

They need to just not play music and let the fans fill the void. I'd much rather the players hear us sing OUR songs for them, rather than us singing Vardy's On Fire over a backing track.

Too many variables (including which division we are in!) at the minute. If we do go up but have a significant (6+) points deduction and a transfer embargo, then we just need to bank the money and focus on operating within our means again.

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
ThorpeAstleyFox replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
If the club allow me to transfer my e-ticket to friends and family when needed then sign me up. If not, then I would prefer the card option (without the charge, obviously). And people can **** off with any T&Cs bullshit - I've paid over £10k over the years for my season ticket - I should be allowed to do with it as I see fit! -
Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
ThorpeAstleyFox replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can we have some form of protest in the 25th minute? "Get your cards out for the lads!" with fans holding up their season tickets? "We shall not, we shall not be fleeced"? Greater minds than mine can work on the lyrics! 🤣😂🤣 -

In the final minutes, the stadium was rocking with 'we support the Leicester, the Leicester, the Leicester...' and then the final whistle went and they killed the atmosphere with the stupid ****ing music blaring over the PA system! We do not need to be told how to clap, sing, cheer or celebrate by the club!!! 🤬🤬🤬

There is no chance that we are sacking Enzo. We have the best points per game in the division and the title is in our hands with 4 games to play (3 of them at home). This is without even considering the cost of sacking and replacing him and his backroom staff.
-
Fans need to stop buying replica shirts until they are less than £40 at release. We collectively have the power to change this extortionate practice but lack the organisation to do so.

Viable managerial replacements?
ThorpeAstleyFox replied to Happy Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The bookmakers still have us as joint favourites (alongside Leeds). Our form is poor, but our points per game is still the best in the division. Can we please all stop with the doom and gloom? -
Transfers in the world of FFP - where do we make money?
ThorpeAstleyFox replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Before reading the OP, I also concluded that we may need to sell on some excess academy products. KDH is the obvious one as he will command the highest fee (but for a good reason). If we could move on Thomas, Ward and Iverson, then that would also help.
