It feels to me... and obviously this can't be true... that the teams playing Leeds and Ipswich are gifting them wins at the minute. Late penalties, stupid late goals, getting players sent off when very much in control of the game. Ipswich and Leeds are very good teams, but I can't get out of my head the scene from Jason and the Argonauts when we see the gods in Mt Olympus manipulating events to their own ends, but in this version Zeus is played by Dennis Wise and Hera is David Nielsen (aka Roy Cropper in Coronation Street.)

Having Wellens as manager would certainly give us someone to blame.

I saw an item that pointed out that very few teams scored from corners regularly now and it was something to do with a rules and how teams can now defend corners much better. It seemed to make sense to me.

Not sure about your view of one of our best on Friday, but I think you're on to something when you say get him winning the ball higher up the pitch. He has the energy and drive and his main fault, attention lapses, aren't as costly there.

I can only echo what others above have said. Feels like my deepest sympathy isn't deep enough One thing I can say, while this hasn't happened to me, it has happened to a close friend and eventually, like her, after dark, dark days things will get gradually easier. Focus on your family and remember the happy times with your son. He didn't do this to punish you, or because you weren't a good enough mum and he didn't do it because he wanted you to be sad. The mind is a strange thing and sometimes is just like the flick of a switch, random chance, there's no one to blame.
