You read this don't you? So many great movies people haven't seen "because subtitles". Prefer subtitles to dubbed as you get more of the actual actor's performance in their tone of voice, plus they try to match dubbing to lip movements, which is why you sometimes get weird sentences as they try to shoehorn some words in. I prefer characters to be speaking the language they're supposed to be using rather than some stupid English with ridiculous foreign accent, or like Sean Connery (Russian, Irish-American, Egyptian, Greek, etc, all with a Scottissssh accent.) Ironically in Shogun though, the characters who are speaking English are actually supposed to be communicating in Portuguese.
