  1. Raducanu played quite well but she makes far too many unforced errors, stopping her creating any real momentum. Once Sabalenka raised her game in the second set, she couldn't cope with it. Too powerful for her.
  2. Less than a week after his contract expired at Arsenal. Confirming that they are a bunch of *****.
  3. Reece Shearsmith should be good. Don't know why but I thought Maisie Adam had already been on. Probably because she's feckin everywhere.
  4. They would have gotten this reply from me.
  5. I've already made £500 in a few weeks with EEE. Still seems to be doing well.
  6. Just horrific. Absolutely epitomised the Nuno era at Wolves and was a great young guy. Incredibly sad for his family.
  7. My mate saw it in the cinema. Said it was a daft plot but very entertaining.
  8. Driving licenses need to go digital the same way your insurance and MOT is automatically checked when you tax the vehicle. Any time you send off a V5 to transfer a vehicle to your name, your driving license should be automatically checked by the DVLA.
  9. His opponent had never beaten a top 5 seeded player in his career though. Zverev still should have been beating him. Especially in R1.
  10. It doesn't though. If the sun suddenly disappeared then it'd take 8 mins 20s for us to notice or feel any effect. Which is the same time it takes light to get to us. Only quantum entanglement seems to break this law, but I suspect microscopic wormholes are involved there somehow.
  11. You can argue it's never zero for massless objects too. Photons famously curve around stars in gravitational lensing. Everything follows curved spacetime whether it has mass or not.
  12. Yeah I'd say once atmospheric drag becomes negligible then you can essentially say you're out of the Earth's influence. Other than gravitational obviously.
  13. Unfortunately, so does my username!
  14. It'll be a truly momentous day when the first human sets foot on another planet.
  15. Essentially your point can be distilled down to wanting more competition from multiple teams at the front. The fact it is Verstappen at the minute is irrelevant.
  16. /pedant Technically the ISS is still in the upper atmosphere and therefore in the same inertial frame of reference as the ground. So they're still "with us" as part of the Earth. /pedant
  17. If you've got a dashcam, report him and upload the clip to the police on their website.
  18. Gooner means a completely different thing these days in certain circles.... 🤔
  19. Why is it in women's tennis there's so many 6-1 and 6-2 set scorelines? It's as if they get broken and then collapse for the rest of the set. And it happens to some of the best players too.
  20. These two songs have been bloody great. Shame he looks like a trans activist crossed with Heath Ledger as Batman nowadays.
  21. Monaco goes without saying as being awful. I said it before but Austria is too similar to Barcelona which is also dull.
  22. I saw them at Reading Festival (I think) around '99. They played straight after the Beastie Boys which is probably the best back to back sets I've ever seen.
  23. Worst GP of the season so far. Absolutely tedious. I had it on in the background and barely looked up at it after the first pit stops.
  24. Isn't Singapore Airport supposed to be huge and a great way to spend a few hours during a transfer?
  25. If Emily Eavis didn't want all that IDF nonsense at her festival then she shouldn't have invited them to play. You can't say "yay free speech" and then cry about what they say.
