I agree and disagree. My mum is now 70, and I was in the car with her as she drove me to and from the hospital the other day.. The amount of times she was hesitant and unobservant was far too much. Not enough to cause accidents or drive dangerously, but stuff like hitting obvious potholes, pressing the brake too hard when stopping so that you jerk to a stop, and taking too much time to react to things. The problem is, a lot of these elderly people rely on their car to get about and without it would be even more isolated. My mum goes shopping, sees family, and generally only goes out in the car as she can't walk very far. I doubt she could take the anxiety and stress of re-passing a test and it'd likely kill her to lose the car and her only ability to see other people.

Even more annoying than not using the indicator at all, is using it at the very last second, when you may as well not have bothered.

We absolutely played Villa off the park 1st half. We can't keep a clean sheet though so really needed to score again while we were on top. They're not gonna be as bad 2nd half.

Their new manager must be pretty decent as I remember them being abject and struggling all last season. Is that all they've changed?

Bought myself a new 54° wedge as the one I am currently using is from my old iron set. My newer Cobra irons didn't come with a SW/54 so I decided to get a full face grooved more modern one. It's a Cobra Snakebite X to go with my Forged Tec irons. My irons are one length and all 8i length (36.75) so the wedge is custom built an inch longer (36.5) to help match up. I'm also sticking a Golf Pride Midsize MCC Black/Gold grip on it myself. Cobra didn't have them in stock apparently (How? You're a huge company FFS!!) so will sort that tomorrow and give it a go in the back garden on the mat/net.

I finally had my top two wisdom teeth out this afternoon. Was absolutely fine. Pretty much zero pain at all really, though my left cheek is still a little numb. Managed to get some chicken soup and toast down me so am very happy with how it went. NHS doing a great job! Oh and my new golf club also arrived this lunch time just before I went for the procedure. Decent day overall in the end 😁

He's not got Morrissey's unique crooning style, but Johnny has a decent voice. Good enough to cover his own songs IMO. Everyone lost their minds when Rick Astley did them at Glasto, but his voice slightly annoyed me as it sounded like he was trying too hard to be Morrissey. I still enjoyed the covers though.

Not sure I agree with this stance in general. I don't stop listening to Michael Jackson songs cos he was a bit of a wrong un. Got to separate the art from the artist.
