  1. Leicester v Forest this season......
  2. I'm a chapati man myself, love the chewy layers. You can make a nice faux spoon with a small piece of bread though as you say.
  3. I know a lad who eats like he's a toddler with a full four finger grip around his fork handle. Looks odd and slightly irritates me, but not to the point of actually mentioning it to him. Edit - Like this!
  4. Ah yes the passive aggressive approach. Always a good fallback plan sure to inspire a hearty laugh from her....
  5. Pricey though considering how little football he's played. English tax playing a big part as he's only worth around £15m IMO.
  6. The worst kind are those who have so much confirmation bias about their obviously entrenched views, then smugly tell you that they've "researched" the topic or tell you to go do some research of your own. It's almost as if they don't understand the definition of the word research.
  7. Nah I'm different gravy. You've just got to know how their mind works. You make a coffee together and lovingly take them through the process, subtly encouraging them to do it the way you like it. It makes them feel included, encouraged and appreciated. *Disclaimer* - The theory is sound, the practice isn't always successful.
  8. Just ask her to leave it until you are back from walking the dog, as you like to drink it when it's hot and freshly made.
  9. That storyline has been almost completely tedious. Especially his constant daydreams and wittering about it. Absolutely zero point to it. They really need to get him to do something as at this point Aemon is a much more interesting character. Hopefully this week's will see him do something (still haven't watched it).
  10. Stewart Lee back on Sky with his latest stand up show - Basic Lee Live at The Lowry. Just as good and ascerbic as ever.
  11. Yes but not watched today's yet.
  12. I just did a cheap mat/net/launch monitor setup and didn't go for the whole enclosure business. I can put all mine away in the shed in the winter.
  13. It depends which launch monitor you buy. The Garmin R10 is pretty good. And you can get it to read spin as well by putting a bit of metal tape on the ball
  14. Exactly what I did. E6 is a subscription service but you get up to 5 free courses (I think) if you go through iOS. Awesome Golf is also an option as it has a really good practice mode (with club face and path angles) and has a cheap monthly sub. I bought a cheap iPad so I could use both services, which then links to my R10 via Bluetooth, and also connects to my phone via WiFi hot-spot for the internet connection. I made my own golf mat too 😊 I'll find the post with the pics as it was only a couple of months ago.
  15. A 3 year old Leaf for £10k (£140 p/m) seems a no-brainier if that's the sort of car you're looking for.
  16. Why didn't FIFA ban Bielsa and deduct Leeds points when he admitted to spying on every team in The Championship's training sessions a couple of years ago?
  17. I've tried afternoon naps but I always struggle to fall asleep and end up just lying there. If I do eventually drop off then I end up being asleep for 3 hours, which makes me feel very groggy and even worse for the rest of the day.
  18. I enjoyed it as luckily the vast majority of the jokes landed. It was far too jokey and 'meta' throughout though, which I was worried about going in. Some awesome cameos though!
  19. That's the key IMO. A proper garage who has experience with your car and knows what they're doing. I did the same with my Tesla and they did a great job. And like yours you can't even see that it's ever been pranged. Although it meant handing over the whole thing to a claims handling company to get that level of service, as my insurance wanted to spend as little money as possible. That cost the insurance more money but I was within my rights to do so. Glad to hear LV did a good job in this case.
  20. I've always been a late stayer-upper and long heavy sleeper since I was a teenager. I too thought it would change as I got older but it didn't. I could easily sleep for 10 hours, wake up then go back to sleep again. Ultimately it's only been now I'm into my forties (now 46) when it has changed. On weekends now I tend to sleep for 4-5 hours, wake up usually needing the toilet, go and have some breakfast, look on my phone for around an hour, then start feeling my eyelids getting heavy again and go back to bed. It's very rare for me to sleep any more than 6 hours in one go.
