Well they did it for free last year, has so much changed in broadcasting and media over the past 12 months? The equipment would surely be there anyway? Wouldn’t they be looking at the recording or at least clips after for analysis? I would bet that even the development squad games are recorded for the same purpose - Throughout all of the age groups. Maybe I’m naive, but I do expect them to provide meaningless friendlies for free. No shitty commentary or pre-match - Just a stream of the game. Not exactly asking for much.

The friendlies have been on YouTube for free for the past 10 years haven’t they? I did expect it this year as well to be honest. What a luxury. All the camera equipment would probably be there anyway for their own analysis and social media stuff. You have no idea of the cost implications of just streaming it on their YouTube channel.
