Well I think our survival hopes are heavily dependent on the Summer recruitment, which the manager won't be responsible for. With the squad we have now, the manager is almost irrelevant - We will struggle massively. I do agree that some continuity would be good though, and I would like him to stay. But I'd also be pretty 'non-fussed' if he left.

Bonkers Or maybe a lot of people understand that managers/players come and go all the time - And if he'd rather be elsewhere then good luck to him. See ya later. If the players are that devastated about a manager leaving they probably need to get a grip.
-
Neither are particularly experienced, but Mckenna's CV is way more impressive than Enzo's. You'd think he'd be more attractive to them. They don't seem to worry about money too much, but he'd surely have a much cheaper release clause.
-
I’d like him to stay but wouldn’t be particularly bothered if he left. Hopefully that doesn’t mean I have a ‘hate boner’. Obviously it’s unfounded speculation, but I don’t think he really wants to be here anyway. He’ll be kicking up a big fuss if Chelsea actually do want him and we try to block it.

I was also intrigued by your comment. How do you know that manager compensation can't be used in the PSR calcs?

We get £50m for Enzo and KDH. Then Potter comes in as manager. Decent.

Wasn’t this signing the outcome of the end of season review by the senior management team? That we lacked ‘leaders’ You need a group of players who are capable and driven. The whole ‘You need leaders in the team’ thing is so antiquated nowadays. Great to have around the place. Probably costs us £60k/week to have him around but still - Worth it!

£4-5m for Luke Thomas? To who!?
-
“I’ll probably stay if I don’t get a better offer” Wonderful to see the commitment and enthusiasm. Doubt he’ll have too many offers to be honest.

Hardly brainwashed. 1. There's usually less chance of making a profit or at least getting your money back by the time they've done 3+ years with you. 2. By 29 most professional footballers have 15 years+ of wear and tear on their legs. The ones that don't look after themselves and prioritise football at this point tend to start a decline around this age. Of course he could be a fantastic signing but you can't deny there's a lot more risk when paying a good chunk of money for a 29 year old?

I read all the time on here that Wes was slow. Just not true. -
As in Dele Alli? Can’t be serious…
-
Surely they’re never going to get £20m for him!? Price would need to be less than half of that.

Casefile is my favourite for true crime. They Walk Among us is also decent - Covers cases exclusively from the UK, whereas Casefile is global.

Weaker squad in hindsight certainly, as we know now that their signings didn't work out. I wasn't necessarily surprised that they came back down, but I did expect them to give it a good go. Fair enough on Sheff Utd and Luton - But you are basically saying that you need to spend and risk a lot to compete. Which is all I was saying in terms of the gap between the leagues getting bigger. Or at least being as big as it's ever been.

I used to use the HIGH5 Zero tablets when I was training seriously. Highly recommended. Cost just under 15p per drink if you grab deals like this; https://www.amazon.co.uk/HIGH5-ZERO-Tropical-8x20-tabs/dp/B01BKN49DO/ -
This is exactly the sort of dynamism we're missing in the middle of the park. Not saying he's the one we need to go for - It's just the type of player I'd like us to bring in based on that video.
-
Definitely won't be popular but I fully agree with this. It's a good time.

Two absolutely brilliant away days!

Yep. It annoyed me at the time that we didn’t turf Simpson out. As with Greenwood - Awful character.
