We should start a poll for who is buying the new kit, with a name and shame option.

Can't comprehend someone owning a cross bow number 1, let alone using it to kill 3 people - you have to reload the thing, that means the final moments of all 3 victims would of been horiffic

I've seen a pic of him onine with his arm round one of the daughters so looks that way....

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
Tommy G replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
What changed? I get your points, but theres has to be more ways of trying to get some traction - whilst it morally feels right to go on the offensive, it will be seldom successful as the club will see it as just noise. One thing that could change is an uprising from a large proportion of fans (think Mike Ashley @ Newcastle) or someone from UFS that can nurture a relationship with the senior figures at the club. Does anyone within the group have any PR experience, or experience in their day job of how to get a relationship struck with senior people to get things moving again. -
Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
Tommy G replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Absolute agreement in what you've said and it's a good idea to hold the club to task in relation to the charity point, it would be all kinds of wrong and a PR disaster if the club has pocketed the money, particularly as it's in Vichai's name. One small criticism is the statement is emotional (probably intended to be) and scathing of the club - it needs a bit of wordsmithing, as I think previously UFS have said the club aren't engaging anymore, silence etc. People will fight fire with fire, and some short sighted seniors at the club will be offended by the constant cricticsm, and have a bit of a fVck you attitude towards the group. It's a bit like trying to get a price increase with a key customer, you've got to pitch it right to make them comfortable to get the deal done, deep down you don't care about them - it's got to be a bit more collaborative is the point I'm making, I'm not sure who is the key communicator between the group and the club - but maybe someone with some experience on that front might get some results. Good luck. -
I'm not big into gambling and I don't disagree - I just don't see the merit in people like Lineker or Shilton wittering about it, Shilton has been done for drink driving twice and sh*gging behind his wife's back take with a pinch of salt what he says tbh.

Lineker is very good at pointing the finger - and has his own whiter than white Image to protect. He worked and was paid in Qatar, he went to court with HMRC over a £5m tax bill, he does a podcast with his best mate Shearer who partners with Betfair. I wouldn't go as far to abuse him on twitter or whatever people are doing, but he uses his platform ''well''.

Concerns about the direction of the club
Tommy G replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
He actually makes some balanced points - which is contrast to the complete negativity on this forum these days, you’d have thought we’d got back to back relegations not up as Champions the first time of asking. -
200 miles but it is 530bhp so the temptation is to have a heavy foot. Drive sensibly and could be 230-50

Foxes Trust Update – Shirt Sponsorship
Tommy G replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hang on a sec, nah. You are literally saying something is OK because unless you are attending in person you can't watch it, so its OK to bend the rules. People also stream because they don't want to pay for Sky. Weak argument -
Foxes Trust Update – Shirt Sponsorship
Tommy G replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's not great is it, as many have articulated but I can't see us being sponsored by Abel & Cole or Ecover anytime soon. 2027 will hopefully be a reset for betting on club shirts. I'm indifferent to it, I've had a handful of bets in my life but empathise it can cause some people real issues. The financial pressure to comply with PSR will push us into the hands of the highest bidder. -

Concerns about the direction of the club
Tommy G replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don’t think many do, and Rudkin is so deeply unpopular he is on a lose lose whatever was said in a statement publicly - it would be like Boris doing a speech at the Labour party conference - utterly pointless. If you do it once, there is then an expectation for another - and before you know it he’ll be having to do weekly engagement with fans to sign off on what underpants to put on. The club needs to improve on fan engagement, no doubt - but Rudkin’s sell by date is well past. -
Concerns about the direction of the club

I think the above is already covered in 5/6/7 other threads on the forum. This place has become a moaning shop. Try and not let LCFC become all consuming, otherwise you'll be popping Enalapril by the bucket load. -
My point about a safe seat was different to the point you are making

Martin Brundle doing his gridwalk yesterday - interrupted by secretary of state for Science, someone I'd never heard of - Martin basically just told him to fvck off, cringeworthy. https://metro.co.uk/2024/07/07/sky-f1-host-awkward-encounter-labour-minister-british-gp-21180242/
