  1. Gone a bit overboard on SW bust I think
  2. Exactly the point I made earlier.
  3. Surely you are intelligent enough to realise this isn't about squad inheritance and more about an owner trying to play football manager. It was staggering the squad overhaul that summer.
  4. Strong words but won't make a blind bit of difference, either got to vote with your feet or your wallet.
  5. It was, he had 25 players bought for him by their nut job owner, I can't imagine he was able to influence much of that, he had to try and put them together and stay up.
  6. Don't go then, no-one is forcing anyone. I think my ST works out at £24 a game. Cooper isnt my first choice either, but neither was Maresca for a lot of the posters on here.
  7. You boycotting next season I presume?
  8. A balanced view. If it's between the two you'd be mental to gamble on a half interested Potter vs a fully committed Cooper, the last thing we need is Potter who is a bit meh about the job, most potentials will be a bit meh because we have a pending points deduction and we're skint. I think we could appoint Pep and there would be sections of the support that wouldn't be happy.
  9. Are our match day prices and season ticket prices materially more expensive than the bottom half of the premier league?
  10. Not sure why everyone wants someone who clearly isn't fully committed to the job from the outset. Potter has seen a 5/10 on the dancefloor but hoping after a couple of beers an 8/10 will be interested, can't blame him

How long on average these days between offer accepted and getting the keys, 3 months?
  12. They'll need to get references and do a Psychometric test.
  13. Hope he can make ends meet
  14. Possibly but would need to be UK based.
  15. You sound bitter, those i8's are sh*t anyway. I'd be surprised if he is paid overseas, from a tax point of view it gets messy and HMRC don't like it. Why are you surprised a director of a buisness gets multiple perks. Whichever side of the fence you sit, he will be paid what he is paid and it's market rate, probably below. He will of got performances related bonus' when we were doing well and naff all the past few years.. It's the way the world works.
  16. It shows directors remuneration and then the highest paid director, which is SW. He will be paid via LCFC.
  17. Susan Whelans was disclosed as the highest paid director at £320k, so I suspect it will be between £200-£300k. Pretty average for a DoF and Whelan is paid below market value.

Went up £5k and said take it or leave it, and that no more offers were forthcoming and gave them a deadline.

Finally had our offer accepted, thanks for all the help @Raj @Izzy @kenny Just hope the chain holds together now.
  20. Excuse me you were supposed to tag @Raj I think
  21. For balance, this isn't a public enquiry like the Post Office Horizon scandal, anything like this will stay internal.
  22. I spy a sensible post, like dodo's
  23. I don't know why you bother replying, he's spent too much time on football manager It's very easy to sit there and type what you would of done with hindsight, anyone can do that, and to pin it all on DofF is just ridiculous and speaks volumes about not understanding how the hierarchy of a business or a football club operates.
  24. He was the financial controller who would have had little if any influence, he would of just reported into Simon Capper. When he left he was promoted, an easy option but potentially the wrong one given how complex and choppy the waters are. Thing is he was probably on about £60-£80K as an FC, and they probably got him for £120K which will be about £100K or more below the market rate for an established CFO is a business that size.
  25. Just watch it - the most chaotic lifestyle you can imagine
