  1. A new owner can structure the debt how they want, it's likely they won't buy the business and it will be debt free, they will leverage it up the best they can.
  2. I'm sure my workplace would charge me if I decided to kip overnight!
  3. 2-0 to Barnsley, Riis cruciate, a new strain of covid develops and an AI supercomputer hacks everyone's savings.
  4. Indeed - having the world class facility isn't the issue it is the behaviour of the users. I don't see other clubs in major decline when they train in world class facilities, but the club culture has clearly slipped massively over the past 4/5 years.
  5. He's continually played 4/5 youth players this year and that's been more positive vs previous managers.
  6. Thanks Deb appreciated. She’s self employed but is now only working 10-15 hours per week. He’s 8 and at a specialist school - the issue with sleep is he will want us both in the same room, and the thing I didn’t mention in my first post is the he can have quite violent meltdowns and is non verbal - so he can start hitting, kicking and pulling hair, so we both end up being up to avoid this - one of us just can’t jump in the spare room for a kip, it’s a nightmare. We’re trialling liquid melatonin which is making his sleep worse not better

  8. Not depression as such but I think sleep can massively affect mood. I'm generally a good sleeper but my son isn't. He can typically wake up at 1 or 2am and then not go back to sleep....until the following evening. This is OK now and again but its pretty regular where I find myself operating on a handful of hours sleep, I'm not sure in the past 8 years I've had a week of ''normal sleep''. Because he is autistic, he needs to be watched all the time which requires one of us to be with him when he wakes up, it's not always easy when he wants us both to be in the same room. I find myself dangerously overtired most of the time and it generally makes you feel like crap, alongside the continued caring responsibilities and a demanding full time job. The feeling is tiredness, brain fog and general irritability most days of the week.
  9. They're enhanced but it isn't AI.
  10. Agreed - as you say you are just part funding a loss making machine, with no real influence unless you have 50%++ of voting rights. I can only see someone coming in who think they can get a steal, then try and pump some money in and get us back to the Prem and flog again when we get there - whilst improving the club (people, infrastructure, commercial opportunities) along the way. I'm PE biased as it's my neck of the woods but I wouldn't be surprised to see 1 or 2 bidding for this, if they can convince their investment committee it's a bargain.
  11. Tigers are skint and loss making - there is no way any kind of contribution from them would help us in the real world - the operating cost impact of another 50 staff and players churning up Seagrave daily would require a substantial cash injection every month from the Tigers.
  12. Looking forward to seeing more of ''Today is the day'' posts
  13. Good job it isn’t his decision then
  14. I find copilot really useful in excel - mainly because my spreadsheet use isn’t what it used to be and I’ve gotten lazy with formulas, least I can use it til the end of the decade at best!
  15. Looks a good end that, was everyone standing?
  16. He's better than Souttar or Thomas - the issue is, he likes to flip the bird at the fans.
  17. Sounds cheerful anyway. We should all pack it in now I reckon.
  18. I can't imagine our fan base would be able to muster any kind of meaningful protest !
  19. If I was being paid £50K a week and played for a club I didn't support I wouldn't give a second thought to a load of keyboard warriors on a forum.
  20. Immaterial meaning in terms of comparing it going up to the PL (worth £150m these days?) He might not have a choice to dictate the earn out structure in any case as I doubt there will be a tonne of interest, so it might be take that or nothing.
  21. Management teams are often incentivised very heavily to stay and make a success you mean 😎 I agree with you - they will be toast
