  1. Hope you've got £20K hidden behind the sofa.
  2. Ok that's enough now John.
  3. If anyone thinks we've got the structure or the minerals in the recruitment department to have a successful January transfer window then they're deluded. It's an inherently difficult window, only clubs with a functioning DOF can potentially navigate properly. None of our early learning center lot will have a clue. We should just ban ourselves from it to avoid any further damage.
  4. Have you ever pointed out to someone that they didn't pick their dog shit up? But you've definitely not picked up some yourself. Same thing.
  5. He wants to sue the BBC for $1bn
  6. 200 hundred people doing that has more impact than 2,000 people not turning up. Use social media to your advantage.
  7. Finally, thanks.
  8. Yeh but we all know the communication has been terrible from the club for years now...I agree. The club aren't going to put out a statement and say; ''Rudkin chants are terrible but don't worry we will do better I promise xx'' Doesn't detract from my point which you didn't quote - which offered balance in saying I agree the board are inept, and we should be protesting against this in the right way, but calling out for someone to die in the context of a football club is moronic tbh.
  9. I was making the point all he does is play golf, and he's good. Nothing about it being ok or anything. Weird take!
  10. I think we know the crux of it all. Top & Rudkin unpopular = fan unrest and OTT chants, it's not rocket science. You can separate understanding the reasons why, doesn't mean that kind of stuff is OK. Apply some critical thinking to that point.
  11. Well Susan was on about £300K a year so it will be somewhere south of that. He will just be on a normal contract of employment or service agreement, I think you mean notice period rather than contract length. He won't be on a ''5 year contract'' like a player, for example.
  12. To be fair you don't know that. Not a chance he will step down, he's one of the longest serving employees at the club, he'd be walking away from a massive settlement! He should 100% go but it won't be on his own accord.
  13. Mass protest outside the players entrance? A bit like Newcastle when Ashley was running it
  14. At the end of the day we all need to step back and realise this is football - not life and death. Top and Rudkin and the rest of the board frankly are doing a terrible job and they need calling out on it, in the right way. I think chants about wanting him dead or whatever they were is a bit OTT, same with the statement from the club following up on it - all unnecessary. If you actually want someone to die over the running of a football club then you really need to take a hard look at yourself.
  15. Got there quite a bit as spend a lot of time on the south coast of Spain, lovely part of the world.
  16. Agreed
  17. Yes his son hasn’t. I think he plays off +3 so he’s not far off pro
  18. Saw a clip of a veteran saying basically it was a waste of time because what did they fight for/ the country now is an absolute state. Can't say I disagree with him. Live on TV aswell, presenters were squirming.
  19. Someone close to me plays golf with his son, put it this way he doesn't have a ''job'' just plays golf everyday either here or abroad - son said he has PP officers at matches and has had a few incidents happen at his home address.
  20. You’ll be taxed to walk on that soon
  21. I wouldn’t be looking to raise anything as it will just stifle any economic growth. I agree with Kenny’s point on GP charges, I made that point previously and despite a few people having a hissy I don’t think many would object. I think any tax increases for anyone earning £250k or below is daft, they could bring in a separate wealth tax but it needs to be thought through, not the same way the envy tax was brought in on school fees. They need to get a grip on welfare and migration as costs are ballooning but that is just obvious. They will be hitting their voter base really hard with any income tax rises - Drs, nurses, teachers etc will all be hit by this. The NI pension charge idea is just a joke, surely they wouldn’t do that
  22. I think her presser outside downing st would suggest it’s coming - all the main media outlets did reporting on it, Sky, bbc etc. so it’s not right wing media rags. This was 12 months ago
  23. Did I say he wanted to be? Weird.
  24. I know, but for various reasons he can’t seem to string a set of games together - when he’s picked
  25. No day trippers at Sunderland
