That second goal just summed it up. Firstly, we had possession and walked into their trap. Then there’s three midfielders very close, none of them react quick enough to stop the pass. There’s four (thought to be fair probably only three could get there) to try and block the shot. None of them do anything. Then the keeper gets beaten at his near post, (though again tbf maybe he has a right to expect one of the seven people near the ball during the move to make more of an effort). Just a complete lack of basics and that’s even before you look at the other end of the pitch and we don’t have a clue of how to score anymore.

The Seagrave thing is such a lazy, contrived and utter bollocks argument. It’s not as if the top clubs in Europe deliberately go and train in Guantanamo Bay to make them better. African sides aren’t winning every World Cup because they’ve got the worst training facilities. Stop making excuses for shite players/recruitment.

Things you can do with an extra 630 minutes…

Was it 50 days she lasted as PM? By the time we play next it will be 66 days without a goal in the league and 120 days without one at home. -

Season one of Mad Men is 611 minutes, so unfortunately you’d still have to watch some fruitless attacks at the end. -
Harry Kane-d him.

There’s care homes with quicker average reaction times than our side.

Do you think Bilal, Fats and Okoli are rubbish? Because that’s 65 per cent of the spend. It’s not just one poor window. PSR lowers the allowances for mistakes (ie £20m for Skipp) ridiculously. How much more £20m plus mistakes have the likes of Man U made in the last few years. Heck, they wasted at least £10m on sacking Dan Ashworth for a month or two. We (reportedly) can’t even afford to sack RVN. -

Yeah a fair few and they pretty much always get relegated. We had three in 01/02, Taylor Bassett/Adams and then Adams on his own. Think Ranieri was one of three (maybe four) managers Fulham had when they were last relegated. -

Genuinely seen a Liverpool fan online really upset and complaining one of the PSG fans was too loud as he had a speaker during the shoot out. -
I’ve been in two minds about this but didn’t think it would sell out so thought could make a last minute decision. Best get on it.

Going a few days before.

I understand what you mean (apart from about Ratcliffe, the guys a charlatan). It’s galling though that Man U’s owners can make way more mistakes than even ours but there current situation is only as low as they can go basically.

Part of it is meant to be built using ship containers which one of the Quatari stadiums was also.

They also spent a lot on others. Was it 17 players in the end? It was basically throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. It’s worked short term for them and probably long term if they get Champions League too. They also have to get rid of a lot of deadwood that didn’t stick too eventually.

I mean, what’s the betting the half time gets extended? I’m sure Infantino can see the $$$$ signs over the half time ads already. If it makes FIFA money, they will do it.

Rodger’s vs the board (chicken vs egg)

Came on this thread to see if anyone had mentioned Congerton yet. Took years for Hanover and Sunderland to recover from his periods in charge of recruitment. You might argue they never have. Why Rodgers trusted him so much, I’ve no idea. We’ll see where Atalanta are in a few years, though hopefully he wasn’t there long enough to inflict lasting damage. He’s now (probably) earning shitloads in Saudi. -
That Millwall keeper chickened out of going for it with his head so went studs first. Amazing how some are trying to defend him online and saying he won’t the ball.
-
Bolt, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cantona a few that come to mind. Obviously every boxer. You’re right about do the talking on the race track and it’s up to him to do it now.
-
Yeah, loads to be honest. You probably need a bit of arrogance to get to the top. You also have to back it up though. We’ll see for this one.
-
There’s nothing in that statement that’s untrue though. If you’re the only ever black driver ever you literally are unique and given you’ve beaten unimaginable odds before why not beat much lower odds again? He’ll get the chance to back the words up anyway.

They had a stat on the BBC live text last night that Leicester have never won an away Premier League game on a Thursday. It was only five games though and four of them were at Anfield. (Obviously six now.)
-
It’s mad how some want even less experience. Like they’ve not learned from RVN at all.

The one bright spot of last night was I thought no broadcaster would touch us with a barge pole…. Newcastle on a Monday night and Liverpool 4.30pm on a Sunday. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/new-dates-for-newcastle-and-liverpool-games
