They’ve only kept four clean sheets in all competitions all season. Three of them in cups and two against Prem sides. Just typing that made me realise the worst defence in all four divisions has more clean sheets against Prem sides than us.
-
They probably had more touches in the opposition box in those two moves than we’ve had in most games this season.

Blackburn having what looked an onside goal ruled out for offside.

Well Vardy can’t and doesn’t press like he used to either so are you taking him out as well? Or are you just laying it on Ayew? If you press up front you have to press as a team. Do we have the players to do that? Probably not, which is probably why RVN has reverted to similar to what Cooper was doing and not press teams as much. You could drop Vardy and have Daka lead a press with quicker wide players, but would we be stronger without Vardy?

Am I alone in thinking that should have been a red for Miley too? They’ve barely mentioned it on commentary.

It’s Harry Maguire’s hair line. It’s ****ing huge!

Ironically, about the first time they’ve been perfectly in line all season! You’ve got to laugh. -

The big positive - N’didi is getting back to full fitness. If ever there was an advert to how important he is, that was it. Better defensively, but still conceded two. -
You want a 15-year-old debutant responsible for Garnacho?

Thankfully they stopped again when Thomas put his foot over the line.

Watching Middlesbrough and Sunderland on ITV4 tonight and was thinking both these sides would probably beat us. -
I mean, if we line up for the next game and our CBs being Okoki and Dawson, I’d be happier. Whether it would work better than Faes and Vesty, I’m not sure, but it can’t be worse than Saturday. Edit - @FoxinNotts beat me to it.

Nah, think he would go five at the back and it would probably be a good thing. It is quite funny that in the Cooper Out thread the narrative was ‘we could get a manger out of the stands to do better’. Now we’ve almost something like that it’s ’nobody could keep this shite up’. -
Worse performance you have seen

The last League Cup game at Filbert Street. Think Robbie Keane was basically the second highest scorer at Filbert Street that season because of this hat-trick. The 3-0 home loss to Derby closer to the end of the season is the only game I’ve left early from. -
Players not coming over to the fans

I don’t know what you were hoping for, they didn’t even come over to cover the attackers they were meant to be defending for most the 90 minutes. -

Just basic organisation would be a start. I said this in the match thread. Yes they’re not good enough defenders, but even a non-league time at a Prem side would have better organised at the back than we were. -

Well that’s what he said, but the reports were the PSV players had revolted against him and he was about to be sacked anyway. Our players are revolting but no way they have the fight to revolt against anything -
The memory of that is the first time I’ve smiled all afternoon!

I’d love to know what Everton’s game plan they’ve been working on all week is because surely it can’t be, just pass the ball up the centre and they’ll part like the Red Sea.
