The Football League are desperate for their clubs to remain solvent and spend money wisely yet insist clubs spend a relative fortune ripping up a pitch and, in Sutton's case, lose out on income from the local community using the facilities because they believe 3G pitches aren't right. Whilst seeing endless games called off due to frozen and waterlogged surfaces. Superb.

I know, have we ever won more at home than 17 in a season?
-
Does a win next week give us a record amount of home wins in a season? We managed 17 in 2014, have we achieved more than that?

Maddison is a very good player but still has traits that annoy fans. As mentioned, the diving, the slowing down of attacks and trying to do too much on his own. On form, he's great. Off it, he doesn't do enough.

Our Director of Football will have it all worked out and under control.

I know. Just fed up we'll be having this conversation every year. Domestic cricket really needs a Barry Hearn-type to come in, be creative and package it properly. So much potential is being deliberately wasted.

Maddison "going to new heights" yet finishing 5th again.

The sooner the ECB are ditched, the better. Get private investment and set their own schedule.

What Have You Enjoyed Most About This Season?
Corky replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ricardo remaining mostly fit and dictating games. -
Ipswich need four points from a knackered and out of form Coventry and an all but relegated Huddersfield. No excuse if they don't manage it.
-
I know I go on about this but a great game is made even better without Gary Weaver covering it with his over the top, scripted nonsense. Daniel Mann actually focuses on the match and it is so welcome.

Birmingham always escape so Norwich might miss out.

Cannot wait for that to return again.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

We should try and comply with this season's requirements. We cannot keep having these things hanging over. Lessons have to be learnt. -
Massively impressed with the QPR manager. Done a brilliant job there. Taken points from all the top three, West Brom and Norwich.

Who would you rather went up with us automatically?

Ipswich and Norwich. Two sides who I don't think will be hugely strong and it would be a good Premier League derby for the neutral. -
Did what he was brought in to do. Plenty of learning and improvements to be made but there are encouraging signs.

Hope we know early. Need to get off to a strong start. We must never be in this position again, sort it out behind the scenes. -
There is no doubt. Rowley and Chandler were phenomenal but played almost a different version of the sport. To score 188 goals in 12 years, with many more assists, mostly in the top flight with a generally non-elite team is stunning. An amazing footballer.

Shows how difficult it is to get controls in that retain some level of competitive closeness. We have made serious errors recently but we are also paying the price for the timing of it, six/ seven years ago this gets brushed off I reckon. -
Hopefully tonight and remove all doubt.

Ours was self inflicted but it only takes a few injuries to knock sides like us three years ago and Brighton now out of stride.
-
West Brom are level with Norwich so they are involved.
-
Drury, Fletcher and Matterface- all main commentators and all painful in their own way.

What a shambolic goal
