  1. Would never happen, the commitment to the environment is key to the league and it's clubs.......
  2. Jimmy to retire at the end of the summer. What a man.
  3. Not a chance our wage bill went up last season.
  4. They have pretty much gone all in financially on the Champions League, haven't they?
  5. Agreed. I don't recall an instance of a team fielding ineligible players being allowed to play the match again.
  6. We played some scintillating and also hideous football in the same season.
  7. It isn't easy to find so I'll try and round it up. Thetford played an ineligible player in their last league game and then the play off semi final which they both won. Last week they were disqualified and Mulbarton, who they beat, were put into the final which was supposed to be played last Saturday. Thetford appealed and it was arranged that the semi final would be replayed. Today, it was announced that their last league game would also be replayed, three weeks after the original match. Heacham, their opponents, have changed manager and lost players since and are fuming at having to play. They lost the first game 6-0 too so who knows what a weakened team would do? Newmarket are waiting for their final opponent, Mulbarton don't know who they will play in the semi final. Harleston, if Thetford had been removed and lost points, or fail to win the rearranged last match, would be in the semi final. God knows when these games will be played, whether players are on holiday, maybe playing cricket over the summer. This has inconvenienced four teams and is a shambles.
  8. If you are at a loose end, check out the absolute farce that is happening around the play-offs in the Eastern Counties League Premier.
  9. Everton are struggling to stay out of administration in the Premier League- relegation would be disastrous. How have these people become the main potential buyers?!
  10. You can forget your ideal manager, the owners want a brand of football. Until they go it won't change. I hope he stays as he seems to support and back the players and they generally seem comfortable with the style of play. We shouldn't have as many teams sitting back so more space should be available. Next season will be very hard whoever is in charge.
  11. In simple terms, if we managed to sell Dewsbury-Hall for £30 million before July then we are likely to be ok? Would be really useful if this is the only points deduction coming along the way. There's a big chance we'll go back down and it would be good to start with a clean slate in the EFL.
  12. Watching a neutral match really does highlight how awful the clappers are.
  13. Think it will be 6 to 8 points. Hopefully we can sell as much as possible early although these rules don't help.
  14. Sounds like Sean Dyche
  15. Man Utd fans from school days realising what supporting a football team is like for most of us.
  16. Jonny Evans rousing the troops there.
  17. Never thought I'd be glad to hear Alan Smith but at least we haven't got Neville sulking and going even more Manc than usual.
  18. Agreed. No doubt the likes of Keys and Merson will be raging but they need a change. Some shocking results this season.
  19. Moyes is getting out at the right time, very good in Europe but their league form over two years is average and he's got a very decent squad. Reputation won't be damaged.
  20. Definitely another managerial sacking on the way from the owner who doesn't want managers sacked when a pundit.
  21. Let's have a proper home friendly on the Saturday before the season. No kickabouts at the training ground, give fans a chance to watch their team against a different opponent.
  22. We are never going to be a global club and that is fine. We have enough support locally, from exiles and their families, from ex-pats etc. If we want glamour friendlies, go elsewhere or attract them to our place.
  23. The last point is spot on. I'm sure others who know some, or have personally met, our other legends wouldn't be so positive about them and their behaviour.
  24. Ipswich merit a parade more than we do.
  25. It all links in. I don't believe that necessarily this issue is the biggest but another frustration amongst many that lots of us hsve. It won't change but people have a right to call it out. And, as you say, bigger things are coming down the line.
