The TalkSport commentators seemed more angry about the state of the club than a section of our supporters.

If you don't want to be here then go.
-
Jesus Christ, when will these imbeciles realise that their unconditional support is making no fvcking difference? Just give them both barrels or don't go, you are gaining nothing from blindly applauding. They aren't going to give more of a shit if they see you clapping. Fvck me.

I dread to think what it would be like if there wasn't the quality in this squad.
-
Hopefully the PA man will hype this up. "Who doesn't love a big game!?" " The lads need your backing, come on the Lesta! "
-
Who would have thought that a team containing Choudhury, Reid and Mavididi would offer bugger all?
-
Do you remember that time when some people believed the EFL were helping Leicester? And they actually believed Leicester would do anything with that help?

The worst season in our history

This relegation is happening in the most apt fashion. A limp, lifeless surrender. I'm glad there won't be a "heroic" or "heartbreaking" demise on the last day- this is how it should be played out. 22nd place without the points deduction, one of the worst teams at this level. Pathetic team representing a pathetic club. -
I think it was the Vichai had a Dream chant, they have misheard it.
-
I was convinced that the World Snooker Championship main event had 64 players for years.
-
The most "fouls conceded because we were slow and late to the ball" team we have ever selected.
-
Hands up, fair play. Nothing about this season has felt steady. I think that week in December where we managed 7 points and 8 goals in three games against Derby, Bristol City and Ipswich, was our best spell. Faes and Winks removed, Skipp and James linked well, Reid contributed. But then QPR away and all that since. We have never looked convincing.
-
Choudhury and Bobby Reid. Exactly what we need
-
Aiyawatt taking over them Rodgers being given power. A bloke who isn't good enough and a bloke who couldn't care less. The bloke who couldn't care less even called out the bloke who isn't good enough and still remained in charge. We stopped being a serious club then.

Football isn't nuanced to these people. We won the Premier League so everyone moaning expects that every year. We have struggled before so put up with it. Nobody has ever said we expect to be in our highest position all the time. We accept, sadly, there are times where we dip below our average. And some supporters see it as an affront, as a disgrace, not something that just happens because it occasionally happened before therefore we just take it. They want change or accountability. The goalposts always move with this lot. You are ungrateful, then entitled, then it is just kids who shouldn't be allowed an opinion, then the League is to blame, then Covid is at fault, then we have always been a struggling second tier team. None of it is true but still it goes on. No pride in the club, no expectations, just something to do and worship a bloke who is barely ever there.

Coventry promoted + us relegated + Gary Weaver = Football Hell
-
No, earliest we can go is Tuesday if we lose both and West Brom get two points.
-
Jesus, who was that Deanomania prat in tears?
-
Both will settle for this now.
-
Cannot wait for AI to take over commentary duties and Gary Weaver will be obselete.
-
Wasn't there quite a lot of cross party praise for the Mandelson appointment at the time?
-
Quite disappointing we haven't got a squad for a relegation battle as it is the one thing they have been suited for in recent years.
-
Bournemouth having pespective, knowing their place and hiring excellent coaches even though they were in League One before.
-
Such a shame we had Rodgers in charge in our European campaigns.
