  1. At least, on the plus side, we can take Ayew off to protect a lead.
  2. Something for the 14,000 to cheer at least.
  3. Pretty convinced that Fletch is a Paul Whitehouse creation.
  4. The rights were sold to the Premier League, I think.
  5. One of the few high profile journalists who actually seems interested in what the fans are saying. Wouldn't be surprised if he looks at this place as well. Have heard him on other local radio stations too. Don't always agree but that isn't the point, he makes the effort to be as well informed as possible.
  6. I would imagine it is all about defending territory and the Celtic fans crossed a line in their view.
  7. You really do not envy the Prime Minister in this. Far easier to be opining from a position of no influence than having to juggle polar opposite sides, moronic shouts from the opposition and an erratic bloke at the other end of the phone.
  8. Of course they will support them, wouldn't expect anything else.
  9. We wouldn't anyway.
  10. It was in the most harrowing circumstances but, football-wise, it was the perfect time for Aiyawatt to take over. The hard work of reshaping the squad had been done, we just needed to upgrade the manager.
  11. Next World Cup (next year) is in Southern Africa, the next Champions Trophy is in India.
  12. Including this it will be two T20 trophies and the Champions Trophy. Only Australia have stopped you in recent years. I think you'll win the World Cup next year.
  13. World Cup, Champions Trophy, T20 World Cup. This will be there in a row, won't it?
  14. India are going to win everything for years to come.
  15. These games are normally so well behaved. Well, according to Jim White anyway, before telling us how bad the behaviour down here is.
  16. We back and remember ALL the lads.
  17. Will this mean both of Southampton's Easter fixtures are postponed?
  18. He is finished as a full back. His legs have gone, he still tries but cannot do it. Unlike Thomas and Choudhury who have never had it, he still has the ability on the ball but no longer the speed and movement to be effective with it. Move him or don't play him.
  19. If you are needing last minute penalties to beat this garbage then it is on you. Ipswich should be comfortably in the top two with their squad.
  20. It wasn't a criticism of him. He needed to make us harder to beat because we were too easy to beat. We have an imbalanced, overpaid squad with a crap mentality, worsened by the shambolic running of the club putting us even greater in the mire. Was given no leeway by being appointed with us wasting winnable matches and ending up in the bottom three. He is here for a reason but has been dealt an early crap hand thanks to the "best owners in football".
  21. If we were a good side he wouldn't be here.
  22. He'll change his mind in a couple of days. It is what he always does.
  23. We have lost one of our last six matches there.
  24. I made a point last week that not winning the League and Cup in the 60s has probably had a bigger impact. The 60s, the early 00s, the stadium move, the last decade- a myriad of wasted opportunities to really grow the club.
  25. When was the last time we were in 23rd in March? Don't think it was between 2004 and 2008 because, despite being abysmal and eventually dropping, we weren't in the bottom three that much, even in 2008 we only fell in quite late and the bottom two were adrift. 1991?
