We are a difficult club to manage but he is doing a terrible job at it.

We were close to winning the double in the 60s. We had been to four FA Cup Finals before 2021. Winning in this era is remarkable but it isn't as though we had never been close in the past. This should never, ever be accepted.

Even without a deduction we are in it. Our run from mid-February to Easter is not pleasant. No James is a hammer blow.

Another game where the result depends on either Jordan James bailing us out or the opposition wasting their chances. As one wasn't available, the other was the difference. Fully deserved defeat against a side with little of our budget but an attitude to play and work us out. It isn't difficult. Their manager called us an illustrious football club but beating us is no great achievement. It is a poor result if they don't.

Soumare and Choudhury as a pairing is unbelievably grim.

It was the continuation of one of the worst football teams in the country over the past 17 months undeservedly claiming another point. We sit through garbage most weeks (and statistics bear this out, it isn't hyperbole) and it is almost a toss of a coin to see if we get something out of it. I was thinking about this at the weekend. We have (now) managed 63 points since the start of last season in 66 games. An appalling record yet at least a third of those, probably more, were totally undeserved. We are fluking not being even worse than we are.
