Proper fire drill, that.
-
Probably because Sean Dyche isn't managing currently.
-
Another time that handball is given.

Even if managers and players change, having a near record breakingly bad season takes a lot of recovery. When Derby finished with 11 points, they nearly went down again the next year. Southampton have won 3 in 45 league games. That is a very tough thing to turn around.

Atletico 5-2 Real.
-
Won the league by two full points victories margin. Wow.
-
It is, taking training at the moment. I'd have thought better European jobs would be available unless he just wants to work in England.
-
Nuno could do better than West Ham, surely?
-
No thanks.
-
Hope not. Bloke has turned us down twice and living off six months at Brighton where it clicked.
-
Possibly it does. The bloke still has expectations on him despite the huge changes in the squad. You also have the issue that this lot will turn against you quickly and run to the owner. Don't think we've been great but he is proactive with substitutions and the team isn't giving up after going behind. We do need to improve generally and he needs to take Ayew out.

Bobbing Reidy!

Come on Ayew, put a decent ball in here

Had a fight at Grange Hill.
-
Ayew's free kicks are a wide variety of shit.
-
Ayew not entertained?
-
No threat down the middle and carrying too many ineffective players.
-
Giving anything other than a full rematch would have opened up a world of technicalities and the like. It was the easy decision based on the future situations.
-
Very good couple of days. Hopefully to finish with a flourish.
-
As I expected. Even with ten men the game was too close for them to rubber stamp the result. You can't blame Ipswich. The ref called it off and a panel has given this decision.

Akinbiyi's first season wasn't terrible, his goals return similar to a lot of Heskey's seasons (though nowhere near the all round game). His second was a painful experience, he just lost everything. We were a poor team that could not afford its striker to miss those chances. The price tag worked against him. The poster boy for a club who had spent large money and the quality declined.
-
Really pleased the format is staying as it is although interesting to see who we will only play once. This obsession with everything having play-offs or finals needs to stop, nothing wrong with a normal league season.
-
Aston Villa did that too. Emery is an excellent coach but exhausting to work for, I wonder if some players have just zoned out.
-
Yeah, surely other countries will want to send our citizens back who have settled in those places, or at least make a stand? Once again, ill-thought out pub table politics. The sort of thing Harry Enfield would have parodied years ago.
