We have had flags put on lampposts near me and some tension this week. Incredibly, the streets have become less safe due to those who want to "keep our streets safe" turning up in a reasonably quiet, low crime, fairly tensionless area.

Brilliant stuff. 22 long, grinding, gruelling years where the club was kicked about on and off the pitch. Hopefully we can put a squad together to make us competitive. The fans deserve this. Regularly told their club offers nothing and should go- they can watch First Division cricket again. A One-Day Cup and a four day promotion in three years, superb.

Going back to the Man City thing, I think the Premier League are now realising what accepting anyone with serious money in to grow the brand is actually providing.
