I agree. It was a weird game because I walked away thinking they didn't get out of second gear to beat us and we didn't offer much of a threat. They were clearly dominant when they beat Newcastle the other week though.

Not that I'm disputing your reasoning, but Derby are not a lower league club. They must have spent about 5 seasons in the third tier ("lower leagues") in their entire history. Their history is pretty similar to ours.

Vardy has won the top flight, FA Cup and Community Shield. I think he's happy enough. It would have been nice to see him in more CL campaigns but, at the end of the day, trophies are worth more.

You do realise it was slightly tongue in cheek, I am a football fan as well so included with that, we're all fickle. Nobody on here posts "factually correct history". I wasn't implying the whole forum or ground did not rate Cannon. No point in him having game time here and there. He's a young striker and needs to play every week. I don't rate our striking options but leaving Cannon the bench every week probably isn't the way to go.

Emery has to be one of the most underrated managers in the league/in the World. He became a meme just because he pronounced some words in his second language wrong. I would like to see him go on and win a trophy in England. He's a likeable guy.

I don't rate Ayew and didn't want us to sign him, but Ayew has been playing at a higher level during this time and playing wide too. Cannon is up front in a Championship team. People getting carried away here.

I love how nobody knew him but we're pleased we signed him, then never rated him (as I recall people saying he's not better than Daka etc), not bothered he went out on loan and hasn't done anything at Stoke but suddenly scores 4 goals against one of the worse teams in the league and everybody loves him again. Only football fans. Stoke have got Swansea, Sheffield United and Norwich this month. Those are bigger tests than Portsmouth, granted you can only score what's put out in front of you.

Club should read the names of people that have died in a memorial at the end of each year (if their family wants it). But nothing should happen at games.
