  1. Why is what I said a “surprise”? What are you implying? He is clearly a decent manager but I don’t get why he’s constantly linked with the likes of Liverpool. I’m pretty sure there is always shame in losing 4-0. Otherwise it’s a strange loser mentality. I definitely think there’s shame in losing 3-0 at Fulham, 4-0 at Luton and 6-1 at Villa. Being considered a “genius” by another manager isn’t anything new. Pep used to bang on about Bielsa all time, didn’t stop him being sacked and Leeds relegated.
  2. He did inherit Brighton from Potter though, claiming their highest position ever seems a bit unfair. They do seem to play good football but it’s all attacking. Seem to concede a lot, that’s now 7 this week.
  3. I really don’t get how Di Zerbi is rated so highly. They get pasted a lot.
  4. It's not a silly argument. Clubs with the greatest resources should be top (or near the top) of their respective divisions. I keep seeing how great our squad is supposed to be "greatest squad this division has ever seen" so we are where we should be considering all of that. That's not even taking into consideration our facilities compared to the other teams.
  5. Anyone staying over? I'm in a Premier Inn.
  6. Currently a thread about this in the ticket and travel sub forum.
  7. I thought she got involved with certain transfers because they weren't moving quickly (for instance Fofona)?
  8. Last season finished on Monday 8th but the coronation probably played a part in that. All KO times will be the same regardless.
  9. I've criticised him a lot, especially in the PL as I don't think he's anywhere near that level, but at this level he's been superb. Even still, with people saying he's been poor, he's the only midfielder that drives us forward. He was class at Leeds, and should have left the game with at least one assist, and then they were all poor at QPR. Probably should have come away from Sunderland with an assist too. Yet compare to Winks who has been giving the ball away a lot yet nobody criticises him.
  10. They post a short version and a longer version of the highlights.
  11. Yet something else set to change because of us.
  12. Agreed in comparison to ours. I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you btw, tend to agree with what you say, I just thing all home atmospheres struggle because of something. I was surprised with Sunderland as usually they’re a vocal fanbase. Something wrong with that top two tiers in this Country.
  13. Feel for the travelling Preston fans.
  14. It wouldn't though, lets be honest. Go on most club forums and you'll find a thread about atmosphere. Even Villa have one and their place should well and truly be rocking.
  15. I prefer him over Justin as he's left sided so it's balanced. I think he's decent on the ball but I still have reservations about him defensively. Justin hasn't been in good form but I think he is better defensively than Doyle.
  16. Like I said, I'll be with my mate who supports Hull. Last time we went into a Hull pub. Definitely didn't want away colours on in there
  17. He was excellent at Leeds.
  18. Cup finals are tough. A lot of teams have been "lucky" to win a final. See Chelsea's two Champions League victories, they didn't deserve them on the final alone. So many times. Liverpool's 2001 FA Cup win is another example, were not better than Arsenal but Owen scores two goals and wins it. But those fans, of those winning teams, probably don't belittle their win as much as some of our fans seem to do on here regarding our victory. Proper weird fanbase. We won the FA Cup, I don't care how we won it but we won it, enjoy it ffs. The team, the management, delivered something nobody else had done at this club in the last 100+ years. All for just people to post "ahh we didn't deserve it though".
  19. There's one near the ground but, as I recall, it's pretty compact. I'm driving there but then walking to meet my mate (Hull fan) and go in the City. I won't have colours on, mind.
  20. Big shame that you're conclusion of Premier League being your answer is because "that's where the big money is".
  21. I see this post all time. Chill out. It's not happening. You know how hard it is to score 9 goals, especially away from home? That's why it's so rare. Arsenal did what they did at West Ham other week and started to take their best players off. We didn't do that at Southampton and kept going for more.
  22. It’s so hard to do which is why it’s so rare.
  23. Even if someone does beat it, we still did it. Scoring 9 from home is really difficult regardless of money spent, hence it rarely happens.
  24. His stock had fallen already. Had a decent Middlesbrough side in a relegation battle.
  25. It won’t be 0-9 lads, chill out. I see it all time in this thread when Sheffield United are playing.
