Lots of reasons why we went down, it’s not solely down to one thing. Inheacho should have scored a hat trick at Southampton, for example, miss after miss in such a crucial game.

Not only was Knockaert's at Watford terrible but his follow up was somehow terrible too.

It set us back a couple years until Pearson thankfully came back. We ended up losing Pearson and then having two or three seasons of spending money but not achieving anything, signing high profile players on big wages. We would never have signed players such as Beckford or Mills if we'd had gone up under Pearson in 2010.

Try and find space would be a good starting point. He was quiet, never used any space for someone to give him the ball.
