  1. It's not. Firstly, as @Guest mentioned, Fatawu against Southampton two years ago. But Iheanacho scored a hat trick against Sheffield United two years after Vardy and Perez.
  2. Nice. Pretty sure Hull were decent pricing last time as well.
  3. It's big for both of us. It's a local derby and I don't know why people play it down. Recent history a rubbish excuse to use. Are we the only fanbase that does this? Incredibly annoying considering we haven't got a main rival. Why would throw one away. I don't get it. Villa would not use this against Birmingham, Newcastle wouldn't use this against Sunderland and Wrexham wouldn't use this against Chester yet all three are among the fiercest derbies in the Country. The more recently successful fanbase would not play the game down. And also, for the manager and players, Cov are the first good side we have played and considering we haven't played that well so far this season it is a big game in that regards for us.
  4. I was going to post that as well Can remember at the time seeing that when they put 7 past QPR. I'm not so confident with them shooting constantly at us, especially when you look at the first goal we conceded at Oxford.
  5. They do have shots but also create. Their XG on Saturday was 4.02.
  6. I'd have Monga ahead of Mavididi who turns up once every 5 games if that.
  7. No he isn't. Their defence is awful first of all. Without Fernandes they would be even lower. He's the best player in the team yet gets criticism every week and it's over the top. Scholes called him "the most creative player" after the Manchester derby defeat and that he should be playing higher up the pitch, which I probably agree with.
  8. Wilder gone back to Sheffield United. At this point the contract should be for life. Does that club not have any ambition.
  9. One season though. If he had done it for a couple of seasons then fair enough.
  10. Why is it disingenuous? He did do some good things but probably so has Aiyawatt. Our most consistent success came under him (after Vichai died). Vichai made Rudkin DOF which has contributed the failings that you speak of.
  11. Any chance of Mavididi actually turning up this season?
  12. Quite. King Power came in and forced Pearson out and their chosen manager, Sousa, had us in a relegation battle. Without Pearson coming back King Power would have spent all their time with us as a mid table Championship club. They owe Pearson a lot.
  13. McGivern was terrible but he only played 12 games and some of those we achieved clean sheets, his debut at Palace for example.
  14. One good season and they throw money around to get him. That's the issue they have. Same with Cunha, one season where he scored 15 or more. These are the type of players that are okay at mid table clubs but never going to be game changers for a club like Manchester United. Then again, I guess Manchester United are just a mid table team now themselves anyway.
  15. Cheers. We've got a home game coming up where I want to buy a ticket like this. I'll just use their name and DOB but then everything else mine.
  16. Can I enter my details but their name? If I'm buying as a surprise, as long as it's their name, can I just add my mobile number, DOB, email etc so they don't find out first?
  17. Having expectations of your club is now being "entitled". Unbelievable scenes.
  18. Good grief the PA bloke shouting “Erling” and the fans shouting “Haaland” back.
  19. Best player at the club. Probably best in the league. It will be criminal if he starts on the bench again against Cov.
  20. It was awful singing about politicians. If you want that then should have gone to that gathering in London. A freak two rows in front of me shouting for Tommy ten names. Probably the first to cry about politics being in football when we're supporting the fight against racism.
  21. These are gonna beat us. It's going to be such a shit start to next weekend.
  22. At the game, live, I thought he could have put it out or get more on it to push it wider. But at the same time our idiotic defenders stand, watch, and react when it is too late.
  23. Because of nowadays obsession with stats and data football. He plays nice football so a board wants him. It was always a stupid move. I said when he was appointed, I’m no fan of Wilder but he’s a better manager than Selles.
  24. Two people did try to help but it was too late. I think I read a male took his shirt off to try and stop the bleeding but it was 1minute 40seconds after. But, yeah, the majority stand filming which seems to be the way nowadays.
  25. Timing is unbelievable. This bloke probably wanted to kill someone and unfortunately for her she got on that train, at that time, and sat in front of him.
