Had last week in Barcelona, which was our first visit. Beautiful place and would definitely go back. Lovely weather and the people were great too. Going Paris later this month which I'm looking forward too. Will be a second visit there.

They are a good set but can also be deluded. Growing up in the area was terrible for me as most of my school mates supported Wednesday. We always used to be in relegation battles with them, until eventually it was us that went down. I took so much "banter" Not only the 1-3 defeat but the 1-4 defeat (where Brunt or Whelan scored two screamers I think). Awful times for both of our clubs. Always pains me we never seem to turn up at Hillsborough! No feeling towards them though (as long as we're above them of course). Historic club and well followed as well (in fact, both professional Sheffield clubs are). But of course both our trajectories changed and they haven't been a top flight club since 2000 which is crazy really. Growing up in early "Premier League" years they seemed like a staple of the division.

Oh I see what you're saying and yes I agree. People especially think CL football means top players will stay but it doesn't, just look at Spurs. The biggest most consistent clubs, in terms of winning trophies, will usually always get the player they want.

Newcastle have won one trophy in about 70 years. Why would Isak not want to go to a team that have won everything in the last decade? Players have always wanted to join successful football clubs. It's different when Newcastle are paying £60m for him from Sociedad.

I have just seen rumours coming out that Isak wants to leave and has handed a transfer request in.

I think it's because people just remember the league title and we're associated with that more. I guess it's similar to Blackburn really, people mention their league title but rarely seem to remember they won the league cup in the early 00's.

I speak to a lot of other fans, up and down the country, through work and most of them seem surprised when I talk about the state of the club. I get a lot of "don't you lot love your owners though?".

I didn't say he wasn't one of our best players. I just don't think he was one of "the best performers in the league". As I said, first half of the season yes I could get behind the "sublime" calls but not over the course of the whole season.

Winks wasn't sublime, he had a solid first half of the season. Last season he acted like a knob and for that reason alone shouldn't be in contention for captaincy.

Over time we've had a lot of bad players and for the worse is Josh Low. In more modern times I'd go Vestergaard, he is horrific. However, remembering a performance is difficult. From recently, from what I remember, it has to be Ward against Wolves. All 3 goals were his fault and the whole ground was on top of him. His performance at Brighton as well. And his performance at Forest in the FA Cup.

I find it odd. Didn't really get it going in this Country until he went to Cov. Scored a load for them in the Championship then went to Sporting and has had a couple season scoring loads. Now we're talking £70m!? Pretty sure I read Cov have got 10%-15% of the next deal so presume they will want him to go for as much as possible!
