He is a bad player. What is he good at besides passing? And he's a defender so I'm not even bothered about that. Lacking pace is okay, some of the greatest defenders of all time lacked pace, if you can make up for it in reading the game but he can't. First goal we conceded at Fulham away comes to mind. He gets caught out all the time.

Same people who spent weeks saying Rohl was going to Southampton.

It is so tough to break that top 4. That's why so few have done it. Squad depth is a massive difference and the big clubs have the resources and money to just keep adding to it.

Out of the names mentioned I wanted him as my first choice too but also people talk him up massively when Wednesday have generally been inconsistent. I don't think he will be in demand as some like to think, there was a lot of talk on here that he would end up back at Southampton which never happened.

Why has he? He did well at keeping Wednesday up last season but they haven't progressed. With this season being his first full season they finished a massive 8 points ahead of Derby who spent most of the season looking like they were getting relegated. Even Portsmouth come up with less and only finished 4 points behind Wednesday.

This cannot be singled down to just one player. The whole squad underperformed.

Yeah it was. I was talking to someone at work who is a STH at Charlton and said most teams have the whole stand still. Wycombe didn't take that many.

We scored a massive 2 more goals than Southampton in 23/24. They were the third highest scorers in the league.

I don't think a "but" is needed after that. I saw a bit of that earlier video and I saw the video of him intentionally driving into a crowd of people. Not really sure there's anything else to be said. All I've read this morning is that a couple of people are seriously injured, including a child, so I hope they pull through. That's the main thing.

I wouldn't call it scraping through the play offs. They only finished 10 points behind us and we won the league. Lost the same amount of games as us too. Compared to this season where the 4th place team also got promoted, Sunderland, but finished 24 points off of 1st.

Lovely ending to MOTD. Brilliant to see so many legends of the game over time, including Cruyff which was amazing. No wonder Gary looked like he was getting teary. Nice to see the videos of him playing for City too. And Alan Smith on there talking about their time together. Seeing Ranieri and especially Bocelli singing brings back so many memories. So many so called "big" clubs celebrating finishing 4th or 5th. Maresca giving it the big one for finishing 4th winning absolutely nothing.

It all doesn’t come down to one game though. It’s a 38 game season. Perhaps don’t lose those games you did. Yes it’s an awful decision but they haven’t been robbed because of one game.

I am disappointed they’ve made top 4. Awful team. Would rather it have been Villa or Newcastle tbf.
