It's even better when a top flight club is away at lower football league club. That's what it's all about. I love the FA Cup.

I don't think we have fight at all, certainly not compared to how Moyes has seemed to install it in Everton so quickly, however it's difficult to draw comparisons to yesterday's game as it was a local derby, between two teams within the same City, and Jones is local (I'm guessing a Liverpool fan). What we saw yesterday rarely happens in games, especially top flight games. The passion was great to see. Merseyside Derby always delivers though, I'm sure it's the derby with the most red cards.

Look how much it means and it was only an equaliser. Imagine if it was a winner.

How long have we been on a downward trajectory?

You mean the same Spurs that have won it 8 times? -
This is why I don't agree with people who think we'd be relegated to League 1 next season or the season after. The bottom half of the Championship is horrific, granted a lot of those clubs haven't got a big budget.

I said it in another thread at some time, but it really annoyed me when Banks died all that happened was Birch read a few notes before a game but when the King of Thailand died it was projected on the big screens before a game.

Rattles would have the piss taken out of them nowadays. What's difference between them and having a clapper?

If Eustace goes to Derby I'm sure he will keep them up so at least we've got them to play.. -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Fox92 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think we've gone past that haven't we Vestergaard should be nowhere near the team yet Van Nistelrooy picks him every week, I have this horrible feeling he thinks Vestergaard is our best defender. -
They seem to have let to many good players, the likes of KDB, age and taken lots of goals out the team, i.e Alvarez, without replacing them.

I think if Lewis was at a mid table club nobody would look twice at him.

This is ridiculous. Give the goal.

Leeds are cruising again. -
That would’ve been a ridiculous goal

I think Fulham have a good chance of beating them. Should have done on the opening day in the league. Hopefully it's an away win anyway.

I went to Paris for the first time two or three years ago now and given the comments I see online I was expecting to see things like a lot of rubbish but far from it, it was so nice and actually a better and nicer City than I expected.

Looking on their forum the last three of their managers have now left because the owners have not backed them or broken promises. Eustance, Thomasson, Mowbray. -

Think, because people associate Blackburn with winning the top flight so much in 94/95, they forget Blackburn also won the league cup in 2002. Historically Blackburn have won a lot and are a founder member too (as are Derby of course). -
Can't see anything but an easy Arsenal win. 0-3.
-
Wolves at Anfield? Liverpool won't lose that. I highly doubt they'll lose the Merseyside Derby too. I would imagine, if anything, defeat against Plymouth has fired them up more. A one off cup tie is so different to a regular league game.
-
Agree about Fulham. Forgot about them. I like how they have progressed under Silva and are a decent side again this year. Wouldn't mind seeing them win it.

Winds me up when people don't want to take it seriously. It's different to the league so I will never buy this "concentrate on the league" rubbish. If we'd have gone through Friday all it would have taken is an "easier" draw in the 5th round (say Plymouth or Cardiff at home) and then suddenly we've a massive chance of the quarters. It's the best cup competition and I love it personally.

On a realistic note, taking away the football league clubs, I'd like to see a manager get the success they deserve so for that reason I'd go with Villa or Bournemouth. I know Villa won't be a popular choice but they seem to operate well in terms of making money on players and ultimately Emery has taken them from a relegation battle to one of the best teams in the league. Yesterday I heard during the game it was something like their 11th win in a row at Villa Park. Bournemouth took pelters when they brought Iraola in but he has, again, taken them from a relegation battle to one of the better teams in the league. I know they've spent a bit of money but lost his main striker this summer. Would be nice to see a real outsider, historical small side, like Bournemouth win it. Put them up there alongside the likes of Wigan and Portsmouth (granted Portsmouth's history is stronger).

Also during their years going for the title with Man Utd, Fergie used to chuck around £20m/£30m on new players where as Wenger never did that. I have more admiration for Arsenal even if they don't have too much to show for it. But like you say the graphic misses out the FA Cup's.

Hoping Lincoln can sneak into the play offs but with the strength of teams around them now I don't think it'll happen.
