Should have happened years ago. Chesterfield, Bromley, Wrexham, Notts County, Stockport and Grimsby all promoted within the last three seasons and all still in the football league. Bromley further down the table but probably won't go down this season.

Not sure about that, most home atmosphere's are terrible. Newcastle quite possibly the worse given there's 50,000 there. Then a lot of teams bring good numbers to our place but are silent for a lot of the game, Man City being a good example.

Three of those are loan players tbf. Whittaker had one excellent season at Championship level for Plymouth but Middlesbrough paid £5m plus a reported £2.5m. That's a fair amount. Latte-Lath I will give us, be interesting to see if he can get 15+ goals again (which he should).

No way. When Evans played he was quality. The last season it was shocking how he pulled out of games "injured", but at least season's before he was good for us and cost us less than £5m. Coady has offered nothing, cost the club £8m plus a stupid high wage probably. Waste of time.

Oh I agree but some people in this thread talk as if it's only us that have issues. Talk of back to back relegation (again) is ridiculous. The division is really weak, especially bottom half up, obviously there's teams there with very little budget too. I picked Sheffield United from the top of my head because they had issues off the field, got relegated with a poor side who performed poorly in the Premier League, and started this season with a points deduction. Just keeping it positive that clubs like that can be successful even when a mess off field.

People said this when we got relegated two seasons ago. You do realise how weak the bottom of the Championship is? Teams have gone down in worse states than us and been "fine". You only have to look at the mess Sheffield United are yet they're going to be promoted again.

Faes and Vestergaard weren't good enough two years ago. People forgot about this just because they both had one good season in the Championship. I will never back those two. Shambles of defenders.

Some good away days pushing league one play offs. I’m hoping Leyton Orient do it.

Not beginning of the end but the home draw with Norwich in 19/20 knocked us that season. After that we become inconsistent.

Nigel Pearson played a big part in changing the club forever. Without him King Power would still be chucking money at big name Championship managers while not being able to make the play offs. Everything started when Pearson walked back through the door.

Faes has been terrible all his time here. Aside from one season in the Championship. Same with Vestergaard. Those two must be up there with our worse centre half pairings of all time.

I voted King Power out. I don't trust them to get rid of Rudkin and, even if they did, I don't trust them to get an adequate replacement.
