  1. I don't mind us doing the whole Dark Arts routine, but this is killing me. TOO EARLY FOR THIS BEGOVIC.
  2. Meh, half decent on his day, so there's somewhere in Italy for him, can't cope with English football. Thomas and Choudhury though, honking players in every way. Both even went to Sheffield United on loan, and and sadly came back!
  3. @tinpot_fox Clarified it for me, but yeah not sure I can face that keeper again. Stiff of nightmares for our non-existent attack.
  4. FFS. Honking line up. I'd like to say it's been fun, but I can't lie to y'all.
  5. Given your current form of abysmal timing and choice of words, I'd suggest you start holding your breath.
  6. Harry Winks will lead them.
  7. Opta has now put us into the 90% bracket of the prospect of relegation. Can't argue with that unless we get beat on the South Coast, again.
  8. Sheffield Wednesday's goalkeeper.
  9. The only two that no-one in their right mind would sign.
  10. I just like how the first thing you see after the headline is short clip about Alisha Lehmann's cars, such as her £150k "Batmobile", before the article decides to go back to topic and dissect the club's current plight. Classic tabloid rubbish.
  11. Swap the T and the D letters, coupling it with an Australian accent, it sounds like Thai Dung. Very appropriate. But no thanks!
  12. There are other topics that have already discussed exactly this.
  13. Let me just get the next week's worth of critical relegation fixtures all summed up: Tonight, we need the teams that came down with us, to help keep us up by beating the teams that could eventually send us down. Furthermore, we would want Derby to beat Oxford, and for Coventry to beat Portsmouth. And elsewhere, in the lofty heights of the Prem, I'd rather Spurs go down than Forest. What a complete mindfook of a situation.
  14. You watch how we play, then all will make sense. We have a recent strong history against Swansea, but it meant little today when they beat us at home for the first time in 76 years. But all the same, good luck for the run-in, yourselves and Oxford are at least showing some fight in the closing stages to warrant staying up.
  15. Well he knows he was only on a short term contract, and that the team was already in dire straits when he signed a contract that no-one else would touch with a barge pole, so he doesn't really have much to lose. He will still get paid whether we go down or not. Besides, I don't think Rowett is the problem, even if he doesn't seem to have a Plan B. It's the rabble that he is trying to steer away from relegation, but can't seem to do the basics.
  16. The way things are going, we could be done as early as 10 days time, so there could well be a lot of phone calls to the club cancelling season tickets before the 29th April deadline. That will hurt the coffers somewhat.
  17. Playing polo?
  18. And yet, amongst the thousands that can see the freefall before their eyes and make their voices and frustrations heard, there are still those willingly clap them off. I just don't understand it.
  19. Such a selfish player. I could only laugh when Swansea had him worked out, anticipated the one-dimensional cut-inside and nick it off him and start a counter-attack. Sell, sell, sell.
  20. Rowett literally throwing his players under the bus on that set piece.
  21. Big chance missed for three points. Just shows we can hold our own and threaten against those pushing for promotion and play-offs. And a second clean sheet in three games. Nothing to be sniffed at considering the run we were on prior to Bristol City at home. The game was scrappy and low on quality but we deserved to win this. Daka may be infuriating, but he gets into those positions. I struggle to see how Ayew would fare any better, or even be in a position to score at all. I'd just stick with Patson for the rest of the season. More positives than negatives yesterday, and shows we could well survive yet. But as Leicester does, it continues to keep me guessing. I was very pessimistic after QPR last week, but I have a little bit of hope again. Oh, how I hate having that hope.
  22. Oxford have found form at completely the wrong time so it won't be them, and think Blackburn have enough about them to be fine. Portsmouth and West Brom are probably the two I would be seek to overtake.
  23. I made the rookie mistake of getting AI's take on the Daka vs Ayew conundrum, let's see what it had to say: As of 14 March 2026, the question of who should lead the line remains a major point of contention for Leicester City supporters following a 3–1 defeat to QPR at the King Power Stadium. The choice between Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka depends on whether the team prioritises tactical reliability or explosive attacking potential. The Case for Jordan Ayew Ayew has been the consistent choice for manager Gary Rowett. Tactical Discipline: Coaches value his defensive work rate and ability to track back, which is crucial for a team currently in a relegation battle. Experience: His positional awareness and hold-up play offer more stability than Daka, even if he is less of a natural finisher. Recent Selection: Ayew has started 22 matches this season, including today's game against QPR. The Case for Patson Daka Daka is often viewed by fans as the higher-ceiling option, though he has struggled with consistency. Goal Threat per Minute: While he has only 3 league goals, Daka maintains a higher xG per 90 (0.29) than Ayew (0.22). Pace and Movement: His ability to run behind defenses is a dynamic that Ayew lacks, though Daka has missed a team-high number of "big chances" this season. Impact Sub: He is frequently used to change the game, as seen in his 60th-minute introduction today. Verdict: Why Neither is the "Perfect" Answer Fan sentiment on Facebook and Foxes of Leicester suggests that neither has effectively filled the void left by Jamie Vardy. Ayew provides better team structure but lacks the clinical edge needed to win tight games. Daka offers more excitement but often fails to convert his opportunities into goals. With Leicester currently second-bottom of the Championship table and two points from safety, Rowett may be forced to experiment with a two-striker formation or a "false nine" like Bobby De Cordova-Reid to find a goal-scoring solution. AI responses may include mistakes. Mistakes indeed. BCDR is hardly an alternative.
