I'm looking for parallels between what we have now and what we had last time we ended up in League One. There's no more than 3 players I can think of currently that would slot in ahead of those we had in the squad last time round. We're crying out for a Steve Howard type of player and someone with the skill and attitude to boss the midfield at that level. Oakley and Winks are a perfect example of two pros on the opposite ends of the professionalism scale when it comes to what is required at CM for example.

The fact that he hasn't particularly shone in an already **** defence speaks volumes.

No amount of free beers at the KP would ever draw me to this conclusion.
