Should both be red cards /yelllow cards ? Guess when one is and the other a red that is the inconsistency which frustrates people.

Yes that is the issue. A foul gets given and VAR probably agrees with the call . And no one really makes a fuss except Luton fans, But now when a foul is given next time the inconsistency will be pointed out .

Who’d be a ref eh ?! In a way you can see it wasn’t an obvious foul but keepers usually get one for the smallest of touches so again comes down to subjectivity and inconsistency. Probably would have been given as a foul if it was against a big team at home .

Our game has just be moved to the Sunday for International broadcast so probably be others.

I think a lot of players would have gone down in the same situation - as you say because they would know a foul would be given which is kind of the problem. They get rewarded for sportsmanship or conning others.

As there was “contact” VAR would have probably not over ruled it either.
