An incredible match, exhausting to watch, let alone play in. Djokovic looked like he'd shot it when he lost the tie-break, but somehow kept going to see off Nadal Andy Murray must be so despondent, though. In any other era he'd be a contender for at least one grand slam event, but with Nadal and Djokovic around, it's not likely to happen for him.

He had a go at them for having written us off before the QF, SF and final in turn. But we had the last laugh in the end. It's possible that, by reaching the T20 Champions League, we'll make more money than we would have done by winning the County Championship!

Awesome day. Good to see Hoggard rip into Sky in the post-match interview.. But it was no more than the team, and Nico, deserved. The prize money and especially the entry into the T20 Champions League will also make a massive difference to our finances. Hope this helps us to strengthen our squad and avoid a Championship wooden spoon next year.

I think his actual farewell game is the T20 v India on 29 August. He's had a fantastic career, and I hope he can continue as a coach at the club. His enthusiasm and passion puts many of the current generation to shame.

I genuinely fear for this team. It's possible that we could cease to be a first-class county in the next five years.

Are their parents brother and sister? Only that could explain delusions on that scale. Have posh EVER finished above us in any season of their history? No, and they're not likely to next season, or at any time in the foreseeable future. Next time you encounter the cerebrally challenged, remind them of the attendances at their home games last winter. a few of them were below 5000. We take more than that to some away games!
