  1. It's a terrible sign for us when i'm feeling this confident as well haha All aboard the Hawaii 5-0 express!
  2. Go big and then skulk back with my tail between my legs! Thats my MO, I can't change now
  3. Yeah but Oxford are also terrible. Whereas Preston are a somewhat respectable team at this level.
  4. I think its about as easy as they come this year. They've been pretty honking this year and Rowett just seems to set them up to not get smashed. Only attacking once they concede With the new boys we should have the tools to break them down and register a comfortable result. The fixtures after this one look a lot more challenging to me. Cue Oxford going 2-0 up in the first 15
  5. Choudary nearly gave them 2 goals in the first 5 minutes of that game, later on he stood there and watched their winger walk about 20 yards towards goal unmarked for their equaliser. He's managed to bag himself the armband and starting positions.
  6. Mourinho said his next job will be in the Prem. I assume hes waiting for the West Ham gig, but him and Marinakis would be box office
  7. We could have stumbled on a way to easily identify young footballing talent here Neck length needs to be added in to FM 26!
  8. At what point has someone in the Gray family had it away with a Giraffe? That neck is insane.
  9. Winding me up seeing people saying the skill put the player down, completely ignoring the fact that Monga stamps on his foot/ankle as he goes for the stepover
  10. Gotta hand it to Tuchel, he makes Southgate look like Bielsa
  11. Rodgers and Taylor are about equal for me in terms of being absolutely disastrous for the club, but I think Rodgers is an egotistical bellend, so he get's the nod from me.
  12. My last sentence was very much sarcasm It's understandable that fan's are result-oriented in their thinking, but for me I like to look at the whole club. Results can be good but you can see standards of the club slipping, these issues can ultimately take seasons to see the negative effects of. Us being a fine example under Rodgers. Similar you can sometimes see results on the pitch aren't great, but that the club is progressing and eventually that will lead to success on the pitch. Someone else could absolutely use the platform Levy has built to take Spurs on and make them a real force. A lot will be owed to what he has crafted and taken stick for.
  13. Tony Bloom is gonna leave a pretty massive legacy at 2 possibly 3 clubs.
  14. Think he's done a good job there. Been relatively consistently one of the best teams in the country in his time there and have improved their facilities. He's left them in a fantastic position as a club. And according to the people that regularly slate him it should not be hard at all to find someone that can elevate them to being a regular title chasing team now.
  15. I think the double jeopardy rule applies, if you pop a johnny on you can wear a Cremonese shirt.
  16. Yeah KDH is very much who he reminded me of, bit of an all action midfielder that can play. Easily the pick of the signing and one i'm very excited about. Ramseys stats from the champ look great from 3 seasons back as well, if he manages to stay injury free then that's 2 brilliant attacking options who have proven they can perform very well at this level.
  17. Haha fair one, I see a few posts above that people were talking about Linekar I'd read a bunch of posts about him being slow then clocked yours and assumed it was misguided sarcasm haha. I blame @HighPeakFox for distracting me by fighting the good fight for Argentina
  18. Haha I know what you mean. Someone's stuck a union jack flag on the phone pole outside our house. I'm feeling the pressure to shave my head, start drinking Stella outside the house and rambling about how Starmer's letting the country go to the dogs I can't decide if this is worse than when everyone used to stand outside their house banging pans during lockdown. I've no objection to flags and think it looks decent during events, but there's clearly more at play than patriotism. Otherwise these flags would have been out for years and not when social media told them to do it.
  19. Sounds like sarcasm but I swear he was pretty well known for his pace when he broke through with us?
  20. That's good that they're widened them, I'd still like to see national though. It was latter rounds of the vase but going to Bitton, Shildon and Kings Lynn with Coalville was brilliant. It's just a little bit of extra excitement. Especially when you get used to playing a clutch of the same teams year in year out.
  21. Agreed, although i'm not sure we have any proper DMs to be fair. We've kind of got 3 Papy Mendy style water carriers. Really excited about James to be fair, seems like an all action type of player. We've been crying out for a player that can put themselves about but also get the ball up the pitch. Trying not to get my hopes up with Ramsey as the knee injury worries me haha. If he stays fit he'll be some player at this level.
  22. Really wish they'd sack off regional draws for the FA cup once it hits the first qualifying round. Magic of the cup at non league level is to play clubs that you'd never normally play. Taking a bus load to a random town somewhere in the country. Found it very tiresome being drawn against league rivals constantly.
  23. Is a James more of an attack minded CM than a CAM then? If so that's a bonus. I did notice his tackle stats seemed oddly high for an attacking mid so that makes sense. See how long he lasts having to try and carry Soumare
  24. I think I'd say logically the decisions have made sense. Although I still think Ndidi will prove to be a massive loss and we should have made more effort to replace him. I think we've accepted we are a top 8 team that should challenge for a play off spot. Jordan james is a good get. Carranza I feel will play about as much as Eduoard did. Ramsey is a wild card. We now have 2 promising attacking players who could be amazing or who could pick up niggly injuries after bad injuries last year. Weve improved the PSR situation which had to be the main aim. Based on that im willing to readjust my expectations this season. Injury dependent I would expect anywhere from 4th to 10th. No issues with us trying to restabalise the clubs finances. Got a very likeable gaffer and hopefully we have a very likeable squad by the end of the year.
