If we offer him first team football and a fair release clause of 20-25m + sell on clause. Make it a no brainer to sign on with us, knowing that he won't be trapped if he does perform to the expected standards. If we lose this lad and only get a couple of million for him it'll be a real kick in the nads. Ryan bertrand got paid £8m by us to contribute nothing. Surely we can risk chucking a million or two at someone with massive potential and upside.
