I think a lot of activity will ramp up across the market from Monday. Prem teams have no finished their pre seasons, squads assessed and potential loaned out players being told that’s their plan for this season. Similarly anyone who had been given a “chance” might well be transfer listed now after pre season games.

Yeah they usually put at least half a year on sale at a time Ive been a few times it’s good fun. Some games randomly “sell out” very quickly. I assume this is when another team has asked for a reasonably behind closed doors game.

You'd imagine we'd just go and get Chair with him being last year of contract? Biggest issue for me now is timing, all kicks off tonight, players like Rudoni are deep in talks with other teams. Just think even with our money now we're going to be late to the party and any new players will take longer to settle in. I've said it before i'd love to know where the Macquarie money keeps going, we knew we'd be able to sell Mads/Wilf etc... why not agree their replacements at the same time or even beforehand and then the cash comes in to pay for those moves a few weeks later! So frustrating.
