  1. I don’t care what we do. All I can hope is others do us favours, if not we’ll have them to blame. Grrrrr.
  2. People genuinely find it easier to blame other teams rather than look and admit our own failures Other teams results won't send us down, us not winning games will.
  3. Hang on, hang on, the only reason we got the results under Cooper was luck according to most. Luck isn't 'sustainable' they said. Now, you're ruing we have no luck. Make ya minds up. You make your own luck.
  4. And there lies the problem. how dare you even think we could get something against the mighty manc city. we should roll over, let them tickle our tummy, then die.
  5. You do indeed. Doesn't matter what they do if we're not gonna do anything for ourselves.
  6. A lot of people in here are sounding very Maddison-esque. It’s alright playing well and losing against the bigger, better teams. They literally let us do what we wanted to, knowing full well we weren’t a threat/they were better but if we’re then gonna serve out honking performances like we did against Wolves it doesn’t matter what moral victories we gain against the likes of Man City. Play like that and we’ll be absolutely fine though….
  7. Failing to tread water.
  8. So, we happy we're creating more agreed? You cannot not be happy with that of course! But, (Genuine question) how come we were scoring more, being more clinical when we created less? Realise i've answered my own question, it's as simple as we were more clinical, but why and when we're create more it doesn't take the clinical side away, or despite creating more are they not as good a chances as when we created less - I guess that's where xG come in for all I hate those kind of stats. Either way, we're not scoring (many) anymore. Cos' Cooper's not in charge anymore.
  9. That's not like Man City keepers at all...
  10. Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to bemoaning a lack of atmosphere but please, please, please, as a fanbase can we promise never to have one of these 'Wooooooo!' chants. Man City, Everton and Coventry, all insufferable fanbases who do it. Brentford too, but I don't really have an opinion on them, it's weird nonetheless.
  11. A ****ing miracle. (I imagine this jokes been done to death. Disappointed if not.)
  12. dire.
  13. ****ing Spurs not doing us favours! Grrrrrr. Bastards. Oh….wait….
  14. Fell asleep. ****ing shit from ourselves and well done Man City for boring me into submission. Cracking afternoon out.
  15. Everyone. Right down to us, the fans, for being too accepting.
  16. You've probably answered your own question. The top clubs don't need or wouldn't loan between them and it'd only help out the lower teams.
  17. Don't get me wrong, the facts and factors are there and I can't deny we do usually allow the things to happen. But why? No matter how many years pass, new management, different players, I mean you could even say different ownership because it goes back as long as I can remember under different ownership, different chairmen, etc. (I make the last point because despite not agreeing or happy with current times, if I didn't mention it, it'd be just another finger pointing exercise at KP). What's the only constant? Us, the fans. Now i'm not saying we effect anything in regards to helping ominous facts and stats to ensue, however, as the point I made in another thread yesterday, i'm sick to death of the 'woe is me' attitude, its like people actively go out looking for these things, admittedly it's not hard and neither do I agree with sticking our heads in the sand or happy clapping - that's arguably why we're in this mess, but we used to thrive on everyone being against us, upsetting people, winding others up, giving the big boys a bloody nose, a siege mentality. Now it's just constant 'woe is me', 'let's roll over and die'.
  18. People can slag him off all they like but he's doing a lot of heavy lifting and we'd be even worse off without him.
  19. First half thought we were really good, under the cosh but even in the best of times you'd expect that (Well....maybe not with the heightened expectation some on here have) but I thought we gave a good account of ourselves. Was nice to see some fight and bodies on the line. Unfortunately we conceded at the worst possible time (albeit never a good time), but to go in at HT 1-0 up would have been a real confidence booster, we invariably become shaky and then crumbled, which was disappointing but predictable. We conceded 3 v Wolves and 3 v Liverpool but we can take some positives out of last night as opposed to v Wolves. Maybe its because I was quicker to realise our demise and i'm years ahead of others but I really don't know what some people expect, some people really do think we're something were not though, even now.
  20. Thought we've played really well, under the cosh, but done well! Gutting to have conceded just before HT, gonna feel the inevitable is coming but so far we've given a good account of ourselves.
  21. ****ing Ayew! Why the **** is he starting! Scoring ****ing goals! FFS!
  22. Oooh, changing things. Not in the modern game. Just do it better. That's how it goes right?
  23. I struggle to see what everyone expects? This is the reality of it all. I mean yeah, granted Bounanotte's omission is a bit of a strange one but other than that, everyone knows the players we have, the players we have available, what are the other options people expect? It's the same players Cooper had, no matter who came in they weren't going wave a magic ****ing wand even though most on here thought all our problems were because of Cooper.
  24. Bloody Bruno and Man Utd not doing us favours. You bastards!
  25. We used to be like that....to become, like that..... Why? Oh why?!
