  1. And this i where my confusion stems from when I say there's valid reasoning to suggest the powers that be want to play possession based, tippy tappy, play out from the back, by instruction and the appointments of Puel, Rodgers, Maresca, yet, we still continually sign players suited to the opposite of that and wonder why it doesn't work out either way. It doesn't make sense.
  2. Foxes Trust understand Companies House website wasn't being updated over the Bank Holiday. We'll see today I guess.
  3. Is he injured? If not what's the lad gotta do? Not even making the bench now. Meanwhile Daka's spooning chances left, right and center. Let's be honest whether he's injured or not he'd still not be getting a sniff. £8m on Cannon, £8m on Coady, not even playing them and we wonder how we're failing FFP.
  4. Repeating what I said in the match thread (Unlike me I know!) but I was ready to flip my lid early on the game, bout the 7th minute where we were passing on the edge of our box, then stood still with the ball, there was abit of discontent from fans and Enzo threw his hands in the air as if to say "What?!" On the flip side, as frustrating as is/he has been, it was great scenes when we scored the 3rd and him, Fatawu and Mavididi were jumping over each other.
  5. Big, important win! Not the most enthralling still but we're in a position and stage of the season where aslong as we get the result it doesn't really matter. I was ready to flip my lid early on the game, bout the 7th minute where we were passing on the edge of our box, then stood still with the ball, there was abit of discontent from fans and Enzo threw his hands in the air. On the flip side, as frustrating as is/he has been, it was great scenes when we scored the 3rd and him, Fatawu and Mavididi were jumping over each other. Hopefully we've turned a corner, got some confidence back, onto the next one.
  6. Sporting Life tipping us to win from behind. they'll eventually learn of our soft backbone.
  7. Imagine my shock in reading about people saying how boring a Man City game is. Atleast people are finally cottoning on and calling it for what it is!
  8. I envisage a situation where clubs are forced to cut cloths accordingly meaning there are not enough clubs to take players on. This could mean players are forced to lower wage demands, which wouldn't be before time but let's be honest never going to happen and even if it did happen I still don't see that it'd be to a level that complies with FFP.
  9. Firstly, all clubs have the same size squads. Secondly, most clubs in this division would love our squad, players who don't get a sniff in the starting 11 would walk into many teams. Heck! It was only 2 seasons ago most fans were generally in agreement we had the strongest depth we'd ever had, in the Premier League! Deluded in hindsight maybe, but don't let that take anything away from the above point regarding this season. Thirdly, people would have you believe this style is the only way to play, the word 'sustainable' was used alot. It's not sustainable, at all, financially or successfully. I feel people are finally waking up to the third point, getting fed up and the penny is finally dropping though.

As i've said many times, I think there is a very valid case to suggest instruction from whomever within the club this is the way they want to play and this is the direction of travel the club is going in, unfortunately. Puel, Rodgers, Enzo.
  11. I'm not disagree about the writer of the article, I'm agreeing with no-one outside of the fanbase (Although there are plenty of Leicester fans who don't know who he is for sure) knows who he is and thus isn't that indictive of our passive, apathetic fanbase.
  12. Isn't that showing just how passive and apathetic we are as a fanbase? Shouldn't we as a fanbase be starting to kick up a fuss, asking for accountability (No pun intended), even simple communication would be a start. I fully appreciate i'm part of that, I perhaps could/should be doing more but as fanbase it needs to be a movement, some of our fans aren't even aware of the issue or even know who certain people are.
  13. I've just heard it claimed we've not had a sports psychologist since 2016. I know we bizarrely got rid after our title win but I thought we'd had one since. How is that been allowed? How is that possible? Especially given our annual shit the bed fragility.
  14. Oh let me be clear i'm not talking about sacking Enzo, not yet anyway. I was just replying to the notion that some people still claim we couldn't afford to sack Rodgers.
  15. But we could afford to get rid of Rodgers and eventually, we did. And if we had got rid earlier (And i'm talking the summer of that season) we would have had a better chance of staying up, instead not getting rid, citing reasons "we couldn't afford too" actually cost us more in relegation. False Economy anyone?
  16. West Ham must be just as frustrating to be a fan of as us. Slightly more exciting to watch, I can't claim to say I watch them alot but I seem to always think they good decent when I do see them, but i'd be equally frustrated as I am supporting us.
  17. I do love it when the Newcastle 'faithful' get all upset. Very funny. Gotta be second to Liverpool for feeling hard done by?
  18. Unfortunately when this way of playing is going well its hard to argue against, how could you argue against anything that gets you 17 points clear. However when the going gets tough it's an intrinsic value of it is that it's hard to get behind, it goes against all logic that when you're under the cosh, losing, chasing a game, especially in the last few minutes, they're passing the ball sideways or backwards, slow, dour buildup, people take the piss out of "Gerrit forwards" but i'm sorry you ain't scoring passing about at the back in the last minute! Even the commentator said yesterday "This is Leicester's last chance, they have to get it forwards" then we ensued to pass it, with no threat whatsoever. We weren't even passing with conviction, it was a tippy tappy 5 yard pass, i'm sorry but people can't get behind that. People had their concerns, raised them and got ridiculed for it. It's not a simple as "Gerrit forward", blood and thunder, "Passhun", you need more than that, but give us something to get behind rather than pointless passing without conviction in they dying minutes. Whatever happened to throwing the kitchen sink at it.
  19. Back in the summer I wanted us to go all out for Adi Hutter, he was out of work back then, he's now unobtainable, he's not leaving Monaco for our basket case club. Another one I wanted in the summer was Diego Martinez, who is available. They both seem different, break the mold of the generic modern manager. They want front footed football, exciting, attacking, but the powers that be seem to want this dour, slow build up play by instruction Fwiw, I don't think Enzo will be sacked, neither should he be, yet, but as the weeks go on since his outburst, threatening to leave, all he's done is create more questions than answers, done even less to appease the fans and stop the decline in form. The smiling and smirking in the interview yesterday did me also. It's only a matter of time before this unfolds into the inevitable, whether the result is promotion or not and the club should always have a shortlist of 'next managers', unfortunately I think they'll continue down the route that we've seen with the insipid style of our last 3 (Not quite so much with Enzo but it's in the same realm, the principles are ultimately the same), that seems to be their remit, that's the direction of travel this football club finds itself in.
  20. Probably not, but he was head of the team. Just like all managerial and back room staff are, a team. Was Pearson willing to listen, take advice on board, was that management team flexible, make allowances, change things? Yes. Can you say that about Puel? No Rodgers? Certainly not. Enzo's? Not shown any signs of it yet. Flexibility, adapting to situations, that's all I ask. Not the insipid one size fits all and if that doesn't work do it better attitude.
  21. Nige nails it as always. "Every manager or coach, whatever their job title is, has a different way of playing, but the bottom line is, you have to appreciate what you have and its about getting the best out of the players, so if you've got players who are fast, powerful, try and utilise it, you know we talk about possession football, yeah, it's alright, if you like possession football, but if the players are suited towards being pretty hard to deal with on the counter then give them the opportunity to do that more often." He doesn't miss.
  22. Some good goals in this game, not slow and incisive move. Players running with the ball, direct and with purpose, amazing you can score goals and create decent chances by doing that. Unheard of.
  23. Lucky bastards.
  24. Is it too late for them to get some pallets of beer in? And some chocolate? Market it as an Easter treat. Paper over the cracks?
