  1. there's only one reasonable compromise here, sell the club to Greene King and turn seagrave into the worlds most expensive pub
  2. ... they're not meant to be intimidating? it's a trend on football twitter of creating left wing versions of the stupid [football club] x Nigel Farage/Tommy Robinson that absolute headbangers keep putting up, to take the piss out of the people who shout keep politics out of football while frothing at the mouth if someone doesn't wear a poppy on their kit.
  3. don't think my opinions on mints were needed to confirm that. but also, the mint goes under the radar as a sweet.
  4. Mints every day.
  5. is that what this is? I thought it was for obsessively tracking the movements of Michael J Fox
  6. summer 2028 Currently cost us £1m per appearance, another stellar bit of business by Jon "negotiating masterclass" Rudkin
  7. that's obviously not the reason to move to unity, no-one has ever gone "I'll play this game because it shares an engine with a game I enjoy". They moved to unity because their aims for the game weren't achievable with the old engine. come off it, while there are legitimate criticisms making up chunks of those reviews, because it is pretty buggy, let's not pretend that there isn't also a chunk complaining about the addition of women's football period (rather than the hash they've made in trying to separate it, where you can still sign and register women's players to mens teams). It would be a negatively reviewed game generally but the 7th worst on steam? it's been elevated that far by review bombing
  8. Vestegaard, Skipp, Thomas, Choudhury, Kristensen, Woyo, BdcR... there's still so much crap on undeservedly big money there to get rid of
  9. our attendances are crap currently because we're playing shit, boring football that people don't want to watch? look at our attendances in the run up to COVID, or even under Enzo. There was clear scope to expand and a fan base ready to fill that expansion, we've trashed it because Aiyawatt and Rudkin have destroyed the club
  10. because the owner is a useless child entrusting the footballing operations of a medium to big club to a jumped up PE teacher
  11. isn't DT @Dan? he's literally the exact opposite of a happy clapper
  12. I'd sooner stick him on the wing than Ayew tbh
  13. arrest the downward spiral by implementing standards and enforcing them, rather than just saying "well the tigers are nearby" as if that's an impediment? We are a county of 1m people with one professional football team in it, having a rugby team nearby does not block us having success or building a big fan base. Hell, we had that and had the chance to capitalise on it just 5 years ago...
  14. notable that every time he gets the ball, the opposition put 3 or 4 on the corner of the box to stop the cut in and shoot. Now, if we had a strike force and midfield that could move, there'd be so much space for free players to exploit.
  15. I mean the defensive errors go all season and have cost us so many points. Preston - Stolarcyks rush of blood and Vestegaards inability to track a run, turns a hard fought 1-0 to a 2-1 defeat. WBA - Vestegaards lack of positional sense and whatever the **** is wrong with Faes turns a smash and grab 1-0 to a 1-1 draw Wrexham - Vestegaard again, throwing away 2 points Pompey - Winks failing to track a run, throws away 2 points Millwall - Thomas limp as anything, drops a point that alone would have us 2nd before even considering Hull, Blackburn, Oxford and Okolis inability to jump last night.
  16. Vestegaard is a big part of the problem. we can only play at one pace, incredibly slow, and it's because he can only play at that pace. Already given away three goals this season with his mistakes, should have been a 4th last night if it weren't for Begovic. He doesn't justify a place.
  17. clearly not or you'd be able to rebut anything. Dyche is as one dimensional as Cifuentes or any of the other crap we've had, and his one dimension is at odds with the squad we've built. thankfully it's immaterial, he's busy getting forest relegated for the foreseeable
  18. Get him as a dof, let him wrestle Rudkin on the way out
  19. it's happy clapper, toxic positivity central
  20. from that angle it looks ball on the line, which is in. Need a more straight on angle to see properly though, was about in line with me (other end) and looked like it was just out
  21. "but we were in league one once" fans in tatters
  22. plays like he's a winner of the coca cola buy a player competition from the mid 2000s
  23. the "cult hero means shit but looks like they put in effort" theory holding a lot of water
  24. best player on the pitch for us. He's a tidy defender, drop Vestegaard and keep him in
  25. because they hadn't scored. Ref realised he got the penalty wrong so was working to even it up
