Winks signed for us in The Championship when he was under contract at Spurs on 90k. There’s no way he would’ve taken a 30k wage drop and a drop into the Championship. The vast majority of info on the internet backs up what Capology state - that he’s on 80+k and has been throughout his 3 years, however that has been paid. Ricardo and Soumare’s wages are verified at 80k -

Yeh not all fully verified but used by the industry and partner links can be seen on the website. Bouba and Ricardo are verified at 80k and Winks’ wages are reported on multiple platforms as 80k plus in line with Capology. -

Have you looked at the website? Looked at their partners? It’s 100% more accurate than the bloke next to you at the footy theorising what they think Winks was on. He’s the highest paid player in The Championship -

Go and have a look yourself. Their numbers are far more reliable than someone on here theorising. I started checking it after there was a general consensus amongst fans that Luke Thomas had signed a new contract because the club had reduced his wage only to see from capology that his wage had doubled. -

Only certain players. Winks obviously negotiated well. He dropped down a division from Spurs because it wouldn’t impact on him financially and obvs has assurances that it wouldn’t change during the 3 years. -

Capology.com is the go to website for wages. It’s still an approximate but a good one. Coady was on £75k. Interesting to note that Faes contract had a bigger relegation clause and that he’s on £25k this season. (Edit actually probably means he’s having half his wages paid by us…👀) Explains why he’s been easier to loan out whereas we know Winks on 90k, Bouba on 80k and Daka on 75k aren’t likely to go anywhere. -

Winks has been on approx 90k a week since he joined us in The Championship in 23/24 season. That’s what he’s being paid now too. -
Patson’s pace is exaggerated
-
Wow, that is a very brave admission 😬. Remarkable take to think VK and Luke Thomas are anything other than two of the weakest players in a very average team. We are league 1 to 2 at left back.
-
What is the point of putting Patson Daka in any team. Absolute waste of a shirt.
-
If we don’t sign a left back in the January window someone needs to call the police.

Wout Faes loaned to Monaco - Official

Was my info about Stade Reims not winning ligue 1 since 1962 as correct as me saying they are in ligue 2 now? -

My comment would actually help your nephew Wout. He doesn’t want to be at Leicester so if he got glowing positive comments from LCFC fans that would help him get the move made permanent. Wout was previously at Stade Reims. Last time I looked they are a ligue 2 club. Stadium capacity 21k. Not won Ligue 1 since 1962. Not sure that fits your description of being ‘much better than Leicester’ to be honest. -

As soon as the deal was just an option to sign him permanently we should’ve bombarded Monaco’s social media with glowing tributes to Faes to encourage them to see the positives and give us £10m - maybe even pay it early. Instead their social media has been hit with bitter LCFC fans ‘good riddance’ messages. We should’ve waited until they signed him permanently before sending shithouse Faes messages! -
Inevitable but I’d still take it over him actually joining us. 🤷🏻♂️

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

Should be an obligation to buy rather than an option to buy. They’ll sling him back as soon as he double OG’s it again. -
Not even a good move for Charlton tbh. At League 2 he’d probably be a goalscoring beast but at Championship level his record speaks for itself.
-
I’d genuinely prefer Carranza than Dykes.
-
I would’ve much preferred going to see us play Macclesfield. Getting Southampton is just dull, miles away and absolutely uninspiring. The only reason I would be against Man City is that I think we could get battered 9-0.
-
I’d still take a one legged, hamstring wrecked Antonio over Dykes ffs
-
Definitely the worse possible draw we could’ve got (other than Man City away.)
-
Absolutely not. He’d be a shocking signing. Yet another non goalscoring striker.
-
You’ve not watched Jordan James then? He’s been putting in games like that all season. Skipp did well today but he was playing against League 2 opposition. He needs to consistently stand out and influence games at Championship level. His fee is irrelevant but it’s not irrational to expect a player of his reputation to be better than he has been for the vast majority of his time here. Skipp is an honest lad and i don’t think he’d disagree with the idea that overall he has underwhelmed in a LCFC shirt since he signed.
