  1. Just to be clear, I said football was meant to be entertaining, not guaranteed to be entertaining. Two very different things. You added the word guaranteed and then argued that guaranteed entertainment isn’t possible in football - no one has said it is! 😂
  2. Why would you want Moyes for away games ffs 😂
  3. It depends what you want I guess. He’s got a massive history of treading water in a premier league with relatively big clubs playing pragmatic and a times almost defeatist football (particularly away against the big clubs) that ultimately Everton and eventually Wham fans got sick of. He’s also been relegated from the prem with Sunderland and failed spectacularly at Man U and Real Sociedad. He’s won one trophy in his very lengthy career which is the minor European trophy that was introduced as an inclusivity cup more for countries that have teams that aren’t ever able to qualify for the group stages of The Champions League or Europa League (as they never get through the pre-qualification process for the two bigger competitions.) The involvement of the lower placed bigger euro league teams (from the prem etc) ensures it gets viewing figures. Moyes is the opposite of a Maresca appointment for me and much closer to an old school Cooper style one. I think a few of our players after experiencing the modern coaching of Maresca will be almost as underwhelmed by the recruitment of an old school disciplinarian in Moyesy as they were by the clueless Cooper. As fans we’ll be as entertained as much as we were during the Claude Puel era.
  4. So you accept that football should be entertaining, but then suggest i go and watch a musical to be entertained? Got to be honest, I’d prefer to watch a good footy match than a musical anyway but each to their own. All I’m saying is Moyes does not entertain. Wham fans were sick of it. One obscure cup in a LONG career of pragmatic football at relatively big clubs isn’t enough. What’s the point of appointing a manager that might keep us up but isn’t a long term solution. Why not recruit a manager that might keep us up but who also might have a longer term project as well?
  5. Faked injury? He’s not broken anything. You can be fit enough to go out but have an injury that prevents you from being fit enough to play a football match you know.
  6. If Faes did genuinely help get Cooper sacked then we owe him a massive thankyou! Thank you Wout 🥰
  7. Seen Moyesy is quite popular on here. If we are going down the old school route then there’s a few others that surely need to be considered….
  8. Football is meant to be entertaining you know. Moyes is at the pragmatic end of a spectrum of pragmatism. WHam fans were desperate for him to leave. We need to consider a manager that might be with us for 3 years. Potter & RVN are better progressive options.
  9. Judging by his lack of ability to manage a football team I’d tend to agree that the lad might need some help with the big shop.
  10. Never nice when someone loses their job but it was a terrible appointment. He was totally out of his depth and he didn’t have the trust of his players, never mind the fans. Presumably the club must have someone lined up for them to be this decisive.
  11. He could play Hamza.
  12. The Ipswich one is a bit clutching at straws tbh because going by that logic Ipswich should’ve been down to 10 men in the first half after Phillips elbowed Buonanotte. The game would’ve then evolved very differently.
  13. Utterly absurd to play Wilf with his 50p boots as our number 10. I could understand it when Enzo played him as an 8 alongside a more attacking 8 in KDH last season but to put him almost alongside Vardy today was basically telling Chelsea that we weren’t looking at attacking much.
  14. I thought he was fouled by shithouse Cucurella but with the ref clearly not giving us much and playing on, he should’ve got up and ran back. Time to give Hamza a go and let him invert.
  15. Poor people management again by Cooper. Vestergaard starts the last few games, plays internationally twice, comes back not injured and not only is he dropped to the bench, he’s not even selected for the bench and the sub who was on the bench when he played (Coady) still retains that position? How does that make any sense? Okoli’s passing was pretty woeful today. Vestergaard is our best footballing defender to play it out from the back. To bomb squad him tells us all we need to know about the relationship between the two of them.
  16. He was good today. Him and El Khanouss both showed some quality, creativity and fight.
  17. His LCFC Can’t defend and don’t create many opportunities. That’s been the same story in every game we played against 11 men this season and in pre season. No signs of improvement and we get that same old chat from him after every game. We lose the next 2 or 3 & surely he’s a goner.
  18. That’s all he did tbf. I gave him a 6
  19. Accidentally left it on stay ffs. Mods need to sort it out.
  20. Gave the ball away way too much today and way too many wall passes back to a centre back. Needs to step it up big time
  21. The vast majority of their Europa Conference bomb squad who can’t get premier league minutes would walk into our side. They have a massive squad of fantastic players and are now coached in detail by an outstanding manger in Enzo. They are undoubtedly top 4 standard and could push for the top 2 positions. That being said, Chelsea won’t need to be world class on Saturday. We are at a low ebb, with players who doubt their manager (and I think vice versa) and a squad hobbled by injuries and bans to our few creative attacking players. Most fans are disheartened by the constant negativity and will quickly turn on the manager on Saturday IMO.
  22. Ricardo is out for 4 months btw.
  23. We have unbelievable bad luck with our best players or brightest hopes with major major injuries. Players that should’ve been standouts for us - Ricardo, JJ, Fofana. Future hopes, Braybrooke and the two that have really hit us in the gut - Alves and Fatawu. Genuinely makes me feel sick. 😔
  24. Sounds like the female BDCR tbf
