He should’ve had way more minutes with our lack of quality in forward positions. I’d much rather see Alves playing the inverted wing role than Ayew or BDCR. An inexperienced Alves isn’t going to do any worse than two players in decline.

Only problem is we’ll still have Skipp, Reid, Okoli and Ayew and none of them will rip the Championship apart. All of them are too slow & way too average.

Skipp has been awful at Leicester, more peripheral than Winks and cost 3 times as much. Doesn’t show any more effort and hides from the ball.
