They pretty much all did except for the subs and Vardy

Any sympathy for Ward needs to be tempered by the memory that he turned down moves to clubs when we it was clear he didn’t have a role at the club after relegation. He understandably didn’t want to lose his inflated LCFC wage on his long term contract but he’s now experiencing the down side of that. Fans see he’s incapable at this level and this incompetence has cost the club we all love. If he’d been making these non saves at a club like Shrewsbury on a league 1 wage, he would not have the same level or ridicule directed at him in such a public place. He made his decision and that’s how it goes.

Match Ratings: Leicester City 0-3 Wolves - Vote Now

Manager confidence not taken too much of a hit despite him picking loss guaranteeing Ward and unleashing paceless Ayew on the wing. Very worrying decisions by RVN. -
Terrible decision by RVN. The selection of Ward meant a loss was inevitable and so it proved to be. This six pointer could be vital at the end of the season and could result in a remarkable Ward inflicted double premier league relegation.

I’d play him at RB, JJ looks miles off it and Hamza can also play the RB inverted role that was so effective under Enzo.
-
He appears to be Championship level but I wouldn’t say he is very good at that lower level. He looks a bang average Championship player that by luck was in a top 6 premier league youth system. He can only play in straight lines, prefers a wall pass, can’t play on the half turn and hasn’t got the physicality that can make up for the technical and creative shortfalls that he appears to have. The games keep passing him by and he continues to bring nothing, he has no discernible impact.

Genuinely not seen any disgusting personal attacks about Ward on here? What have I missed? 😮

It will be interesting how the press deal with this match. Leicester got hammered for our shit show away at Newcastle last week. It’s been plucky old ‘Ed Sheeran’s Ipswich™️’ until now this season despite their massive spend but they were comprehensively outplayed in this game. Newcastle missed some absolute sitters and still won 4-0 at a canter, away from home. Assist of the season coming for Murphy btw.

Ipswich should be 6-0 down. Boo’d off at halftime!

None of these keepers played any significant number of games except for Hodge and his inclusion is harsh anyway. Kevin Pressman and Mike Hooper are two that spring to mind that were worse than him. Anyway, due to the lasting footballing and financial impact of Ward’s poor performances, he is the worst keeper that has played for us and he’s the one that should give you PTSD! His presence and selection during our relegation season was, and continues to be, an absolute catastrophe - as is the inflated wage gifted to him as our 3rd choice keeper.

Unbelievable that Wolves have appealed the Cunha incident. There’s absolutely nothing that could justify a snide elbow to the back of the head followed by a face grab and the chucking away of a man’s glasses. All caught on the finest HD cameras too. A tactical appeal will ultimately extend his ban by a few games as that’s what the FA do when appeals are clearly baseless. If the rumours are true that he’s off in the transfer window maybe Wolves are happy to push the ban to his next club? It might take a few £mill of his price but if they stay up due to Cunha winning them three points on Sunday then the prize of staying in the premier league will significantly outweigh the loss.

I applied with my lad, neither of us were successful but we didn’t even get the email to say we were unsuccessful! Nothing in junk mail. I phoned the help desk who delivered the (unsurprising) bad news that we were unsuccessful . They had no idea why neither of us received an email despite being in the ballot!

What a happy ending!

The only level of responsibility he’s ever been expected to shoulder is to do his job properly and demonstrate the ability of a senior international goalkeeper playing in the premier league. That’s not a disproportionate expectation and he has failed to deliver to that reasonable expectation catastrophically!
-
We didn’t sign him because we used the money earlier in the season after his loan had been agreed to sign Vestergaard which wasn’t originally planned. Ironically Rodgers then fell out with the Dane, barely played him and ultimately made him train on his own.
-
I assume you mean ‘that’s on Rodgers not Ward?’ Yes it was almost criminal for Rodgers to select Ward. I always assumed he did it to try and get sacked. However, this thread is about Ward and once he’s selected he has no one to blame other than himself for his performances. As I said, due to the damage he caused in being a major factor in our relegation and the subsequent ongoing state of the club due to this relegation - Ward has to be the worst goalkeeper to ever play for LCFC.
-
No other goalkeeper has been significantly responsible for a catastrophic relegation and causing such long term damage to the club. For this reason Ward is the worst keeper we’ve ever had.
-
Yunus very underrated. If Enzo used a number 10 last season he would’ve played way more. Even played out of position I liked him.
-
Yeh Conrad still pulls off top level saves for the Nomads. Not lost any agility. I genuinely would have him in the team over Ward.

Stolarcyck playing for the u21’s tonight 🤞

Having an aptitude for seasoned sausages does not necessarily make for a good goalkeeper tbf

No this was from the penalty shoot out against Walsall. Tbf he saved the penalty but he shuts his eyes ffs😂
