  1. Not quite sure of the relevance of Hamza off the pitch is. It’s genuinely frightening that people can’t see that Justin is currently a massive problem for us. He’s not confident to attack or defend and he treats the ball like a hot potato. However painful it is for people to accept, Hamza played well today and is currently a better option than JJ with Ricardo injured. I personally hope that Hamza starts at RB against Villa.
  2. Outstanding technical performance from Bilal. Miles better than any Man City midfielder. As complete a performance as we’ve seen from a LCFC player in a long time.
  3. You going Gazza? You can lead some chants👍🏻
  4. The difference is Brentford are 10th in the overall stats for shots on target with 86 compared to us in 18th with 57. Overall we’ve had the fewest combined on and off target shots at goal in the whole league by a considerable margin. We are 20th with 159 shots followed by Southampton in 19th on 172! We concede lots of chances and create very few of our own.
  5. Yeh I get your point and they battered us even more in the 2nd half but they still utterly dominated the first half too when we hadn’t scored. They were 2-0 up whilst had an XG of 0.07 with 1 shot off target.
  6. If Ward hadn’t played in goal for us and we’d kept Schmeichel or played Iversen for the full season, we wouldn’t’ve been relegated, simple as that. We were relegated by 3 points, Ward personally cost us way more than that. The goalkeeper is arguably the key position on the pitch, if they can’t do their job as the last line of defence (ie. make saves) then there’s a problem.
  7. You threw stats at me so I just gave you the stats back and they paint a rightly bleak picture of our performance there. We were very lucky to only lose by two injury time goals. Ipswich weren’t battered tonight and they set up just as we did yesterday against Liverpool, the difference was they looked in the game and didn’t accept defeat like we did in the 2nd half yesterday and like we did in the 2nd half against Wolves BTW, I’m no fan of Ipswich, I don’t like Ed Sheeran to put it mildly. I was happily chanting Jordan Ayew Ole Ole at Portman Road and as we left their stadium after the last minute equaliser. But if we are all being honest here, not a happy clapper or the opposite constantly negative fan - just a LCFC fan with some realism about where we are at - until Phillips was sent off they were the better team.
  8. We only had two more shots than Ipswich against Arsenal but we conceded 35 chances, 16 of those were on target. That’s a battering. Ipswich gave them 13 chances, only 5 of those were on target. We faced 17 corners, Ipswich faced 5. Against Arsenal we had an XG of 0.32 and Arsenal’s XG was a massive 4.6. Against Ipswich their XG was 1.94.
  9. Are you seriously comparing a successful Chelsea 04/05 to 24/25 relegation threatened Leicester? Come on Bert that’s stretching it a bit and it was 20 years ago! Hutchinson as a winger not ahead of Ayew? McAteer? Clarke runs Mavididi close and he’s their sub. Not sure Soumare would walk into their midfield and I don’t dislike Bouba btw but he’s got some serious flaws. Cajuste and Morsy back up Phillips are no less effective and both are miles ahead of Skipp. Buonanotte may well get into the Ipswich side, but perhaps that’s more to do with the tactical nous of McKenna finding a role for a technical footballer like Facundo.
  10. We attempted 2 more shots. Wow. We also gave Arsenal 35 chances compared to the 13 that Ipswich gave them tonight. It’s great being positive but let’s base that on reality and not faded memories of what was a 90 minute battering.
  11. It’s not bashing. It’s honest. Ipswich are 2 points behind us but have looked better on the eye than we have this season. We haven’t put together one full 90 minutes yet. There’s no point burying our head in the sand about it. Not many of our side would get in the current Ipswich team. Mads, Vardy, Winks? Maybe Ndidi?
  12. Watched the full 90 and they should’ve been 6 or 7 goals up. Hermansen was out of this world. We were awful.
  13. Did you watch our game against Arsenal? Take away those two worldies from JJ the ball virtually never left the 18 yard area of our half.
  14. They’ve given Arsenal a better fight than we did. We got battered.
  15. Ipswich are defending well. Trying to score, breaking with pace, playing fast football, showing some aggression, showing some fight. Not showing too much respect to a big 6 team. Not giving away corners all the time. We aren’t seeing much of this from LCFC at the moment.
  16. If we are being honest Ipswich look better than us don’t they?
  17. Dr Ruud will see you now Pep
  18. The AI on Twitter
  19. The next appointment to Dr Leicester was an ailing Manchester City..
  20. Mads isn’t going anywhere in January ffs 😂
  21. I was referring to the actual assist he got for Ayew and the one he lined up for Daka in the second half not that 1st Daka one tho I thought that one was as much about Daka not expecting a pass. Vardy would’ve made that an assist too.
  22. He should’ve got two assists but Daka completely missed his kick. Certainly not the biggest problem in the squad.
  23. Criminal defending for Gakpo’s game changing goal - hanging a leg and allowing him to come back on his right foot. Gakpo was only ever going to come back inside. His performance in the rest of the game was irrelevant after such lazy bit of defending.
  24. Can’t win Man City? Doctor Leicester will see you now. 🏥🩺
  25. We didn’t press at 3-1 with 10 minutes left, we happily took a 3-1 as if a 0 points and a further -2 to our goal difference was somehow useful to our season. 🤷🏻‍♂️
