  1. The danger with that approach is you have to carry the £200 million loss for 3 years! It seems much better to carry the losses over a number of years, because as you rightly say, to be complaint you need to match some of the profits from the previous years as they drop off.
  2. Its looked quite promising so far. Skipp has started well, a nice structure to our play.
  3. I read the Alex Ferguson book leadership recently. One of the things he said was that he always staggered players contracts. He said that when players contracts all run out at the same time it gives too much power to the players. I feel that is partly what happened to us, Tielemanns inparticular, and his approach to running his contract down I believe changed the way some of the other players approached contracts with us.
  4. We need someone to sort out the mess and who won't pander to any of the players. Maybe not longer term but a couple of seasons sorting us out would be good.
  5. I think I agree. I just want to see him (or whi ever else), start to bring through the wealth of young players we have got. I don't mind the older players in a mentoring role, but I feel the thing that seems to be going well currently is our production of high quality youth players. If he (or any other manager) starts slower but is clearly developing our youth players I will be a little more patient. However I definitely feel we need a change of approach and something that differentiates us from other clubs.
  6. To be honest I just want a manager who takes us down the route of developing young players and bringing them into the first team.
  7. Has this been confirmed, or just likely to happen?
  8. He is young and will have to work on aspects of his game, but ultimately there are other areas of the squad that need attention. If he is given playing time I think he will become a very good keeper.
  9. Ah, thanks for clearing it up. I assume bad attitude to training, unhappy with not starting etc. I did wonder because I missed this.
  10. What has he actually done and why has he said he won't play for the club again? Seems very odd?
  11. To be honest I missed that game because I was away. It's absolutely great to see him returning to his previous levels and long may it continue. 😊
  12. What happens in the forest chelsea game on the last day?
  13. Before yesterday I didn't think he was good enough and had lost his way. Yesterday he looked back to his former self a little. He also looks like he is starting to bulk up a little. I hope a season in the championship helps him develop into a decent player for us for the years to come.

We need to use him as a last few minutes sub when we need to press defenders to make a mistake, nothing more. After next season we need to cut our losses.
  15. I think that has been the problem this season, Maresca reshaped the squad for a certain style, and when he left we brought in a manager who plays a completely different style. What ever we do we need to be clear how leicester want to play football and stick to that approach, not change with every new manager.
  16. I agree with this, a reset and part of a project if he stays.
  17. I 100% think we should go along this route, it is the one area of the club where we seem to be ahead of most.of the clubs around us.
  18. If I am honest we seem to get a very high number if youth players who make the grade at championship and prem level, Bassey Nyoni Schlupp Chillwell Barnes MacAteer Dusbury-Hall Thomas Nelson Monga Alves Stolarczyk Etc, I would really like us to focus our approach moving forward on being a real pipeline for the best young talent and for bringing through the best young talent from abroad (Like Bilal). At least it feels like we would have an identity again, currently we just seem to be scatter-gun.
  19. Sorry for the ignorance, I thought we were going to lose the last massive loss (90 million) off our accounts for next year? Is that the case and do we still need to sell still in the same way we have before? (Sorry for the ignorance)
  20. I think you are right. When someone is as widely disliked as Rudkin it is impossible to come back from regardless.
  21. What time does it start? I think I might take a look. 😊
  22. Bring in big Nigel. Clear out the squad, set up a regime based on hard work and a long term recruitment strategy.
  23. I feel when Ndidi can last full games we will go back to being solid and winning some games. We looked much better than we have until the second half subs.
  24. I actually quite likes what I saw, until the Danny Ward saga started! (Admittedly I didn't see the first half against Newcastle.) I feel once we get through this part RvN will be fine. I just hope he doesn't get too stubborn regards picking Danny Ward.
  25. What is clear, whether you like booing during the game or not, the message has been made and has been picked up by RvN and the pundits- something that might have been lost if it was at half time or full time. What ever happens I hope RvN takes some time to understand people's feelings towards Danny Ward. I personally feel that he can't be as bad in training as how he is performing, as he just wouldn't be picked. However he is so disliked as a goalkeeper by our fans that it's unsaveable and we are at a disadvantage as soon as he plays. I personally feel it is better that he doesn't play again due to the effect he has on the fans, something that Iverson doesn't suffer from (regardless of who os the better keeper). Hopefully it's all academic and Mads is back soon anyway!
