Exactly. Even more extreme: The commentator tonight said “despite dominating the game” As we were passing around the back four, at 78 minutes, 1-0 down to a very very poor side. Even my Mrs looked up from her phone to say “surely it’s suits them for us to be doing that. You could say they’re dominating us”
-
Unfortunately this is also really demotivating for those players… imagine being Cannon / Nacho / Coady / Albrighton / etc watching these performances knowing that you’re rated as poorer than those on the pitch!!!!
-
Seriously?? We created a couple of half chances against one of the poorest sides in the league. They haven’t won in 7 games, have conceded 41 goals in second halves of games. We created nothing against a league 1 side

“Hi Enzo, that was a tough watch, can you explain why you keep playing the same tactics, same players, and make no in-game changes? The 96% of FT survey respondents who want you to leave would like to know. They’d also like to know whether you meant it when you said you’d walk if we didn’t believe in you” Any Interviewer. Local media.

He’s not a footballer is he? I felt sorry for him tonight, like a clueless puppy that didn’t know what he’d done wrong
-
Biggest 45 minutes of his managerial career upcoming.

Isn’t the definition of insanity to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result?? Everytime we get the ball I can draw you a diagram of what happens. Everytime a team sheet is announced I can tell you who’ll be the worst players on the park. This is ridiculous
-
How does this unchanging line-up make sense to him, when yesterday he was moaning about tight turnarounds and player fatigue??

Oh no! The wife’s now on FoxesTalk

Is this the most stressful season as a Leicester fan ?

I’ve said it during games many times recently … I’m not enjoying watching us play, I find it quite a stressful experience. I presume that’s because I know there’s a strong possibility of us passively keeping the ball in our half, wasting the game, until they score. -
Nope, not insane, just reading many people’s views so there won’t be a singular viewpoint, and sometimes both things can be true. I’ll put my views against those listed if it helps! No plan B. Absolutely. It’s rigid plan A. However for some bizarre reason he played two centre mids on their wrong side. Same tactics, just asked players that consistently play badly in that role to try again. For 75 minutes we created absolutely nothing. Had two tame shots on goal. Then when finally we chased the game slightly we missed a couple of chances. We do play it around the back, needlessly and pointlessly recycling the ball, almost playing like we’re wasting time. Then equally pointlessly loft a Sunday league percentage ball. Again we do both, it makes no sense does it? If you’re going to play percentage football do it quickly and relentlessly - 90 times a game and you’ll make ten chances. Waste time like there’s a possession masterplan prior to the lump it and hope ball means it happens 18 times and you create 2 chances. We’re top of the league and look terrible. Another example of both things can be true, however seemingly contrarian

I don’t know how it’s done but it’s comic genius!!

“We will get better as the season goes on”
5waller5 replied to Stevosevic's topic in Leicester City Forum
I absolutely believed this, at the start of the season we looked like we were improving every week. The other trope was “we’re winning without changing out of 2nd gear”. I also genuinely believed that too!! I think it’s fair to say, in the longer term, I was wrong! -
Yep, Mavs / KDH partnership destroyed, Wilf / Fats partnership destroyed, so our most potent routes to chances gone. All the players involved in that ridiculous tactical switch (that’s been attempted several times and been a disaster every time) had a stinker, plus the strikers that played in front of them. That’s absolutely on Enzo. And his reason?? To nullify the threat of Millwall with the ball, yeah Millwall, one of the worst sides in the division on an awful run of form. That’s on Enzo.
-
Oh dear, I’ve been really trying to stay positive after such a turgid game. I’ve tried to not get sucked into the Enzo out feeling, but hearing his justification for KDH on the right and Wilf on the left was for pressing, says that he thinks their out of possession work is more important than playing in their best attacking position. Ie. Against Millwall, a bottom 4 side, we prioritise defence against attack. I thought we looked like we had absolutely no plan, no desire to attack, no pattern of play, no idea how to break them down. This interview confirms it was deliberate. Sorry Enzo, but tomorrow is the next day you threatened us with
-
Very quickly. Extremely fast
-
He looked exhausted. I actually thought his desire was there but his body simply didn’t respond to his brain (a feeling I know well from my playing days!)
-
Just shows we all see the game differently. I thought Birmingham were a reasonable side, certainly better than their league position suggests
-
Wilf looks very unfit, he made those passes look bad
-
Had all the hallmarks of “not our day” right up until it WAS OUR DAY!!!!

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

The shoe was on the other foot with Everton last season, and with missing out on Champions League to MCFC the season before.... and yet we just about managed a mild whimper rather than rage -

Each domino blaming the one behind it. Leeds blaming us, we’re blaming Everton, but nobody is tackling the cause of the little dominoes falling - Man City et al -
Not necessarily a bad idea but needs to be punitively large. A scale that goes well over 100% of overspend if huge… the fines / tax should then be re-distributed to the clubs that didn’t break the rules and a portion to the Championship
