  1. Hmmmm these are good points, and that dents my enthusiasm for him. In the positive column his style is so similar he’ll hit the ground running and be a slight evolution not revolution, and will have players he knows he wanted to sign that will fit our squad (in terms of price range and ability to play his style).
  2. My choice would be De Zerbi - Available and plays an attractive version of Enzoball.
  3. You’ve confidently told someone they don’t understand PSR, whilst simultaneously demonstrating that you don’t understand PSR.
  4. Arghhh this makes me really sad. Have a long and happy retirement Claudio, you gave me everything I could ever wish for from football 💙💙💙
  5. In whichever combination it wouldn’t be beyond possibility that all 3 swap within the same 3 clubs.
  6. Or Haarland at Man City, he’s never going to make it the lanky streak of p…
  7. I agree entirely with this, but was under the impression that he had committed himself and told them what he needs. Do you not think that this has happened?
  8. We had a VIP pitch invasion instead
  9. I have a VERY low opinion of Pierpoint!
  10. Big shareholder (not sure of how big a stake) is the guys that are sending Everton under - accused of borrowing money multiple times against same assets, house of cards that’s about to fall. In fact the very reason there is FFP is to avoid the kind of owners that are involved with Everton / Savilla
  11. Keep him especially if it has the same beneficial outcome of getting rid of someone promoted beyond their ability. Rudkin = Pierpoint2.0
  12. Savilla are a financial basket case - Frying pan and fire spring to mind
  13. Yeah it makes no sense why we keep playing that tactic without the traditional number 9. Shearer or Sir Les would love this system
  14. It’s easy to negotiate in Monopoly if you’ve cheated your way to a massive pot of cash. There’s nothing to admire about Man City having more money than everyone else and buying all the best stuff.
  15. Baggies. A WB supporting old friend of mine passed away at the beginning of the season
  16. Totally agree. Do you think that English as his second language means he’s not able to give the nuanced answers a native speaker would though? I’m sure that sometimes his reply is constrained by the breadth of his vocabulary (and don’t get me wrong his English is brilliant, I’m not being critical, just seeking to understand)
  17. Obviously a talented footballer, good control, nice feet, can create space…. But, not great enough at any of those things to make up for his weaknesses - Off the ball work / physicality / decision making
  18. The T-shirt was a shade of Temu Ballotelli
  19. Which is my point - Puel’s lack of player likability (if this is the case) is irrelevant, especially given the encumbent
  20. Do you think that a player would be less inspired to be signed, on behalf of LCFC to play for Enzo Maresca, by: An ex player with >600 top flight first team appearances, and over two decades experience of managing at the top level. OR Rudkin.
  21. I don’t think that being popular with players is a required attribute for a DOF??
  22. Entirely agree .... I think if we go hard enough within the process (and outside of it threaten to expose the inequity / involve the press / call for independent regulator etc) they'll find a way of dropping the case due to some bizarre and irrational reason. They're already used to doing this on a weekly basis with VAR so it won't be a stretch!
  23. Regarding us not doing stuff - absolutely!! There’s still no defence of Rudkin’s incompetence. MCFC’s false accounting, we’d argue, has a consequence of them not directly breaching the FFP rules, which in turn keeps them in the Champions League…. Denying us the spot, which causes our breach. We’re in the unique position to argue that as we were 5th. We should go very hard and very aggressive on this line of attack imho.
  24. There’s a very clear parallel with MCFC’s breaches - the breaches are due to including unnatural / inflated sponsorships etc… It’s cheating to avoid FFP. FFP would have been breached if they hadn’t introduced a shed load of money into the club through associated parties under the guise of a commercial deal. Its like us suddenly declaring that we haven’t breached because Ping Kower Ltd have sponsored the match day program for £120m/ season
  25. 0 Points / Case dismissed is my prediction. Our defence will surely be - Man City denied us £100m+ in Champions League revenue. Our case cannot be heard first because their breach caused ours. I think we’ll go hard and threaten to put the whole thing into the public domain. They will sh!T themselves that they’ll either have to answer those awkward press (and possibly govt) questions, expel MCFC from the league, or drop the case against Leicester. They’ll take the easy route.
