  1. Been a great appetiser for The Crucible tonight. Will feel strange Robertson not being there, but fair play to Jamie Jones, a tenacious performance tonight, something which we’ve seen from him in the past.
  2. With the Lucas Beraldo links back in January, it does seem clear that the Brazilian market is of our interest. Looking at players who started at the weekend, that would fit into our current plan. Gustavo Martins(CB) - Gremio Mauricio(RM/AM) - Internacional Wesley Gassova(LW) - Corinthians
  3. Like Si vs Mertens last night, more evidence on how matches can flip on a few shots. That missed mid range pink to go 9-7 is gonna haunt Heathcote tonight.
  4. And Si somehow survives. Now plays fellow Chinese talent Wu Yize for a place at the Crucible.
  5. Si Jiahui vs Ben Mertens is qualifying drama at it’s best, just gone into a decider.
  6. Noppon’s 147 from earlier this afternoon for whoever hasn’t seen it 👍🏻
  7. Some big clubs supposedly scouting him atm. Can see him going in the region of £10-15 million in the summer.
  8. As beautiful as Amen Corner is, the final round went downhill from there. As expected, Scheffler just too good.
  9. Dario Osorio - Was linked to him in the past, he eventually signed for Midtjylland where he’s currently doing the business.
  10. Bloody jinxed him. YOU SUCK LUDVIG! #ReversePsychology
  11. Aberg’s a stud, would love him to win it.
  12. McGill the biggest casualty in qualifying so far, first time he’ll miss the Crucible since 2014.
  13. Whoever gets promoted next season will all finish under 10 points.
  14. Depends what you class as “underdogs”, by name and history of course we’re not underdogs. But if we unfortunately stay in the division, with a squad that will get depleted, a transfer embargo, possible points deduction and a wage bill that will more than likely need to be cut. Very much like Forest, Luton, Huddersfield & Coventry, our squad on paper would be left to look like underdogs.
  15. The Pearson ship has well and truly sailed, but we’ve gone from Brendan Rodgers to another Brendan Rodgers type. Another Pearson type is what this club actually needs. I guess you’re referring to the Championship with this statement? If so look at the type of teams to have success in this division recently. Luton, Forest, Huddersfield, Coventry have all made the play-offs in recent years with squads consisting of plenty of frees & loans, two of which of course got promoted.
  16. What Leicester City needs is a manager who will create a team that run through brick walls for each other. We haven’t had that since the Pearson and Ranieri title winning days. Doing work on French Football this season, what Eric Roy has done with Brest is nothing short of incredible. A team built on a limited budget, the football isn’t pretty at times but they play with energy, fight and commitment, the players know their roles and always give 100%. Leicester City desperately need a manager and team with that type of identity.
  17. Mick Beale’s Blue and White Army
  18. Quite possibly the most one dimensional manager I’ve seen at Leicester City. Whether we somehow scrape promotion or we stay in the Championship, he 100% needs to go in the summer. Too much damage has been done in recent months for him to earn another season at Leicester. But of course problems run more deeper than just Maresca. The mentality of this club seriously needs to change, the mindset of “Everything will be ok” reeks of arrogance. It’s bitten us on the arse once, we’re on the brink of doing it again. The squad also needs a complete overhaul, there’s far too many weak minded bottle jobs throughout this team. I said it after the Millwall defeat, this team has me feeling nothing, it’s littered with unlikeable players. I seriously miss the days of Morgan, Huth & Wasilewski. While finally, even if we do sack Enzo, it’s reached the point where I have zero faith that the club would make the right appointment. Those at the top are obsessed with possession based managers, it needs to stop.
  19. Manager & the majority of this squad gone in the summer please. A bunch of weak minded bottlers, no change from last season’s mentality.
  20. Nice one Watford, thought their back three were excellent tonight.
  21. We knew what his philosophy was going to be like from the outset, winning 13/14 at the start of the season and cruising at the top, it’s very hard to be critical when things are looking so rosy. But once the losses start to come in and the wheels begin to fall off, it’s very easy to question whether Enzo Maresca is all that. When things start to go wrong with a possession based system, it quickly becomes apparent just how boring possession based football can be. Once opposition teams work you out, more often than not they’ll play a defensive compact shape, and try and catch you out on the counter. It also becomes increasingly difficult to break teams down, which in turn makes our possession based football look rather tedious. However it’s nothing new to us, we’ve seen it all before with Puel & Rodgers, we know how the story goes by now. Unfortunately Maresca is cut from a similar cloth, a good chunk of the fanbase have just become burnt out from having to watch a possession based style. It’s been tried and tested at this football club, we’ve had numerous successes, but when push comes to shove, it always leads the same way, with fans becoming increasingly bored as time goes on. A different style needs to be implemented at this football club, but unfortunately King Power seem adamant to stick with a possession based principle.
  22. No doubt there’s bigger problems in the squad, but I’m rather surprised more fans haven’t called him out for the lack of his defensive work. He is part of the reason why we’ve been far too easy to play through recently, his defensive work is seriously shoddy at times. He is the perfect midfielder when you want to control possession, which is clearly the main reason why we signed him, but once our midfield is carved open you can see his flaws. What we lack is a ball winning midfielder who is also good in possession. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if we get promoted they’ll be many games where we won’t get away with having Harry Winks as our holding midfielder.
  23. Watching Moody vs Shehab, a painful slog so far. Cutting the tour down to 80 from 128 would be justifiable, just too much dross between 81-128 in the rankings right now.
