Can’t be playing Rohl ball on this pitch, Dyche it is.
-
If it’s Rohl, he seems to go with a target man like striker who can hold the ball up, while also having the ability to work hard out of possession. If it’s Dyche, we’ll probably also see a target man like striker.

Basing it off what I feel we need right now in terms of a youth developer. Jess Thorup Garcia Pimienta And my new hipster pick, Kim Hellberg at Hammarby.
-
I’d still edge towards Hasenhuttl. ”But we beat his team 9-0”. Looking past that, he and Rohl are pretty much from the same school of identity. In terms of a good history of youth development, you won’t get much better than Hasenhuttl in terms of managers that are available.
-
From a style of play perspective, Rohl is a no brainer. Very much like when Will Still became available, we were handed an open goal, for whatever reason our situation stopped that from possibly happening, now we’ve been handed pretty much another open goal, if we let this one slip, then it’s yet more evidence that we’re run by idiots.

And we of course reaped the benefits, as he built a very likeable squad. Now I can barely count on one hand which players I like from this current squad. The type of personalities we have seen enter the club since the 21/22 summer transfer window, is a big reason why we’re in such shit.
-
Just goes to show not enough scouting goes into players personalities. When Thomas Frank was at Brentford for example, there’s no way he would have assembled a squad of the personalities that we’ve assembled. We are currently in an era full of unlikeable knobheads.
-
Just got round to reading Percy’s article, I said numerous times over the course of last season how unlikeable this squad is. Player power in full swing again. We have a bunch of knobheads at this football club, and nothing will change until we get rid of them.

Sohaib Nair, coming off a good season in Ligue 2, shouldn’t cost too much

Walked along the canal earlier past the stadium, they can still afford window cleaners

This is exactly what he gets harshly criticised on. I viewed him as a guy who completely disregarded youth, but when you actually look at the evidence, you can see why only Dwight McNeil came through at Burnley for example. What youth player didn’t get a chance that should have? At Burnley, the only two he missed the boat on were Jimmy Dunne and Bobby Thomas, yet were they going to get in ahead of the likes of Tarkowski, Mee, Keane and Collins, of course not. The rest of Burnley’s youth players from his era have ended up in League 1 or worse. Some fans make assumptions without backing up their claims. I simply don’t want Dyche because I’m not a fan of his style of football, but I’ll happily back him in certain aspects where I feel he gets harshly criticised.
-
I think he gets harshly criticised in certain aspects, but in terms of style of play and his habit of relying on many experienced players, I’m Anti-Dyche. When the average age of our squad needs decreasing, if his history is anything to go by, he’ll probably increase it.
-
And Danny Rohl signed Ben Hamer, Nathaniel Chalobah and Stuart Armstrong for Sheff Wed
-
Have you had their scores on notification ever since you discovered him? 😂
-
Posted numerous tables from Transfermarkt that is littered with the evidence. Every season at Burnley and Everton, Dyche always shows up on the oldest squad, oldest starting 11 list. Tarkowski, Mee, Keane, Collins, Branthwaite were all under 24 when Dyche played them. But I think we all know by now what he will also do if appointed. Instead of 1-2 experienced signings, it will probably be 4-5.

Bradford away, nice set of colours

Zian Flemming scored the same amount for Burnley last season. Wilson Isidor scored only one more than those two, and these are the strikers of two/three promoted teams. Our best bet is probably signing a striker in the £5 million range, who is capable of scoring double figures worth, then if the best happens and we get promoted, then you sign better, which is probably what Leeds are going to do with Piroe.

Ivanovic won Millwall’s young player of the season for a reason. He proved last season that he is one of the most intriguing striker talents in the Championship. If he continues to develop, I reckon he goes for triple, quadruple what Millwall paid for him.

Negative thoughts suck don’t they The mother got admitted to the infirmary this morning, the instant anxiety that has plagued me since 2020 has unsurprisingly reared its head again. Mentally and emotionally drained, just hate when the negative thoughts outweigh the positive ones.
