  1. This has similar energy to those hostage videos where people are forced to show "they are ok" so that a ransom can be paid. "Look into kamera. Say positive thing. Or we kick and beat you."
  2. Isn't Danny Ings on £125,000 a week? One of West Ham's highest paid players? Sounds like Rudkin to a tee.
  3. Ipswich have done great business. Southampton have brought a big number of able people in. Let's face it, it's those two that we should be comparing ourselves against, not established Prem teams that already have quality.
  4. Top lacks every skill, talent, nouse and experience that made Vichai such a shrewd and successful businessman. The club simply hasn't been the same since the crash. Therefore, those around Top must massively share the blame. Rudkin and Whelan in particular must have a good, long look in the mirror. The former for the shambles on the pitch, the latter for the financial mess we're in. Because taking care of those two areas are literally their jobs.
  5. Just look at the twerp and his ill-fitting trackie bottoms. If I were a professional footballer and this thing would turn up to the negotiations, I too would want to go elsewhere...
  6. I would love to see Rudkin liquidated first. Like evil villains get done in Bond movies. In fact, he even looks like Bond villain – just a really, really boring and rubbish one. "Dr. Maybe".
  7. All I know is that I have three Spurs players in my Fantasy team. And none of ours. Go on Cooper, prove me wrong.
  8. It's comments like these that make me hope the players read this forum.
  9. Very true. But I was just referring to the Zaha loan deal itself, not the entire window. During that time, we brought in plenty of "names" (Yak, Vassel, Solano, Kamara, Bednar) that were proven in the Prem. Some performed, others didn't. Zaha feels a bit like one of those.
  10. Why does this have, for me at least, the vibe of the Eriksson period c. 2010-11? I'd still have him though. At least he can create.
  11. Au contraire, mon ami. Burnley fans not rating someone usually means that the player in question is, actually, more than decent. In their eyes, it's the likes of Andy Payton that are "proper" footballers.
  12. We need a striker. Like, someone who opposition defenders actually are worried about. If nothing else but to be a factor in creating space around him. I look at Daka and if I were a defender playing against him, I'd happily let him have all the chances and shots on goals he wants. Never going to score. Complete donkey.
  13. Great stat regarding Ward from our relegation season (22-23). "Based on the data, City were expected to concede 55 goals from the shots on target they faced, only the sixth-worst in the division.... ....they actually conceded 68 goals." Thanks Danny. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-city-must-remember-relegation-9429649
  14. Reassuring. Thanks. Do Majestic Wine deliver at this hour?
  15. Do we think the strategy is to play Ward to try and get someone take the bait and come in for him? Someone like Dorking Wanderers? Or some other Step 2-4 team?
  16. Only if it's enclosed and not overlooked by anyone or anything.
  17. So is a giraffe with diarrhea. What's your point?
  18. Problem with offloading Daka is that people have seen him play.
  19. Unless you were suggesting that Rudkin was planning on getting our new manager from Aliexpress. Which - given his track record and abilities - would not be entirely outside the realm of possibility.
  20. Sad news. Good player, lovely bloke.
  21. It would be one where I try and and make myself feel superior to others by pointing out that fun is not allowed - even though the season is over and there is little else to do.
  22. I agree. But I'm afraid he's more than likely to get the boot if (when) we are still in a relegation scrap come February.
  23. Michel García Pimienta Ruben Amorim Francesco Farioli Pochettino Not convinced by Will Still at all.
  24. Depends who you ask. The papers had him linked to Bournemouth. The Zambian fans on Facebook linked him to Barcelona and Arsenal.
